A challange for all aspiring writers.

If you reshape the avengers like how the Justice league is then Doc Strange fits perfectly.

The only problem with that is the fact that the Avengers never were the Justice League, nor were they ever meant to be.

I phrased that wrong. I look at the Avengers as marvels version of the JLA(and I do think thats sorta what they're supposed to be.) And that means all the best heroes are supposed to be on the team. They're earths Mightiest heroes. And who's a better spellcaster than Doc SDtrange?

doctor doom

Here's a couple names off the top of my head. I'll try and come up with something for them later.

Prowler
Cloak & Dagger
Deathlok
Sleepwalker
Slingers (Hornet is dead and Ricochet is in Loners but c'mon!)

But they arent and that is the problem right now with the books. They were their own Brand name until someone decided to make them just like the JLA. These werent the best Marvel heroes....these were guys and gals who banded together to become Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

I'd love to write a Darkhawk series. I'll add more stuff to it later but Darkhawk would definitely be the obscure Marvel character I'd have my eye on if I got to play in the Marvel sandbox.

Werewolf by Night

Concept- Take elements of H.P. Lovecraft and Native plus Norse mythology to tell the story of a werewolf other than Jack Russell. It will be about a new character by the name of Noren Grimm who seeks the werewolfism out himself. Rather than the traditional change, the wolf would climb out of Noren's skin whenever the change occurs. The series would look into wolves and their culture, religion, ethics...society plus how a person like this would thrive in a world of today.

Premise- Noren Grimm has always done things on his own, single child of a single mother, went to college with none of his friends, always single and even has a rare disease which slowed his aging process and physical development. In his Junior year of college he suffers a mild breakdown during a drug trip. It leaves him with what could be hallucinations of another world unveiling around him. This is a world where "The Weird Sisters" are still at large and a strange traveling caravan hustles warped miracles. On his 21st birthday, Noren Grimm makes a deal with the leader of the caravan, drunkenly taking on the werewolf curse in exchange for the cure to his disease. This sparks a chain reaction of the events which count down to Noren's death.

Pretty sweet I like the native american angle.

Main Rogues-

The Unit of Area 13 - Area 51 is the cover up, for what they hide from you about space, Area 13 is the place for what they hide from you about the Earth itself. This team of researchers is hunting Devilin Dark in hopes of studying him and cracking the genetic code for his ability to change. They dabble in everything and have even begun trying to use Dr. Strange to tap into other planes for perpetual energy.

Honestly don't get it.

Morbius- After all, it IS a horror comic and what would it be without Morbius? For Noren Grimm, Michael Morbius is the threat looming over the world that goes unnoticed. We find that he has been responsible for a rise in kidnappings in the Michigan area, but is less of a villain. He feels as if he is a force of nature, rather than a freak, sent here to help keep man in check. Morbius is also responsible for the massacre which occurred on the gypsy caravan when Devilin Dark was first turned.

Jack Russell- when Jack Russell finally appears he is a drunk somewhere in Romania who frequently mourns the wolf curse he once had. Now that he is without it, after a deal with Morbius, he believes that it was a gift and regrets his rejection of it. Jack somehow eventually meets Devilin Dark and tries to take the gift back from Devilin Dark.

The Thing in the Deep- there is a monster deep in the forest which only wild things know about. This is the thing that scares people when they see the dark woods. Dark first encounters in his journeys to other wolf packs to learn their stories.

Supporting Cast-

Victor Von Doom- believes Dark sees something deeper in the universe as a wolf and takes it upon himself to talk with him. The two develop a friendship built on respect to the point that they sit and share their ideas about the occult and argue theories.

Dr. Strange- thinks Dark rushed too far into this too fast and lingers more to caution him with Stamford in the back of his mind.

Rhane Sinclair/ Wolfsbane- really, I like what David is doing with her in X-Factor right now and would love to see her get swept into this whole thing too. It would be a good way to look at wolf culture and whether or not she even has a true place in the canine world, not to mention Devilin Dark would need a love interest of sorts.

I'm kinda so-so on this concept.

Okay I hope everyone knows I was joking about the Ronin thing. I've been thinking about it and heres my pitch.

Black Tarantula

pitch:After being defeated by Bullseye, Black tarantula goes into a death like state. He wakes up in the lair of the hand who expect him to now work as an enforcer under them. Outraged by this he brutalises Elektra and works his way back to America, where he plans to take over NY as Kingpin. The story is about him(the badguy) rising to the top in the criminal underworld basically.

Not feeling it, I like BT, but I don't see him 'brutalizing' Elektra at all, he'd be ground hamburger f--kin' with 'E'. Now the thing with him vying for the top spot as Kingpin, yeah I dig it. I'd say focus more on that and flesh it out some more.

Not to be a whiny pants, but come on guys I need some feed back on my Force Works ides.

How come everytime I mention Elektra you scold me?:p

my bad Sloth, I'm just saying Black taurantula doesn't have a prayer mano-o-mano with Elektra.

I'd probaly take a more 'Once upon a time in Mexico' approach with BT, let's see him get back to his latin roots. Maybe head back to Mexico and regroup see how he grew up. Things like that.

I think he could stand a chance against her. But he certainly wouldn't "brutalize" her, and there's no way he's walking out alive if he atacks her in a building full of assassins on her payroll.

The Hood

A great character with a load of possiblity. When last we saw him, he had three enemies rearing their heads. Golem, the crime boss who's favorite hired-gun Hood offed, White Fang, an engineer who's husband he accidently killed, and the very demon he thought he killed. Parker had one bit of good fortune when he was taken in the Beyond series, but now what is going on?

This series would explore his origins, why the demon came back to life, how he used the magic against the FBI, who the daughter of the Golem is, and more. the world is a dark place for Parker Robbins, and it's only getting darker.

He could stand a chance just not a long one.

wait, are we talking about the guy who gave Spidey a head ache during his Identity Crisis period?

I like.

I'm really curious about the origins of Parker's cloak.

my thoughts on his origin? No accident. That warehouse was a trap for Parker, he was supposed to die by that demon's claws. They just didn't expect him to bring his peice. Now why, you ask, would a demon set up a hit on Parker Robbins? because he is no ordinary human. he is part demon. a specific kind known as Obsukria that can absorb the powers of other demons. When an obsukria is created, it is always a time of great turmoil because Obsukria can usurp the throne of hell, which is why any ruler of any hell dimension would set a hit up on the Obsukria. How do we know Parker is an Obsukria? simple. the human mother of an Obsukria is scared and broken beyond the power of man's medicine to repair.

He could stand a chance just not a long one.

I think he'd do well. I mean, Ninja's aren't the unbeatable gods of combat that they're made out to be. But, I definately think he'd be dead in seconds, since he'd be in the HQ of her organization of hired killers.

this gets spoon fed to you slowly as Parker has more earthly adventures. White Fang inturrupts a heist, and Parker ends up the hero as he saves people from her wild shots, ricochets and misses. He eventually puts her on the ground runs and finds himself in an occult store that later is not where he remembers it. His girl and baby are killed by Golem, he hides out at the hooker's place, but she gives him up quick, fast, and in a hurry. he's attacked in the street by White Fang again. this time he's saved by a rather lovely blue skinned woman. she introduces her self as Aqua Marine, a mutant who runs a shelter for mutants. it's a rather nice place an Parker is able to rest and recuperate thanks the the tender minstrations of Aqua Marine. there he actually finds himself put in charge of looking after a group of kids. A bit of heart shows through. when a drunk comes in one night and tries to hurt Aqua Marine, Parker pulls out his gun and blows the drunk's head off. He leaves quickly, seeing the horror in Aqua Marine's face, and the children's faces as he reveals his true character.

he's on the run again and winds up in that same occult books store. more of his origins are revealed. at the same time you see Aqua Marine run to a large man, calling him daddy. she tells him about how she has feelings for a man, but he scared her and then ran away before she got a decent explanation. as she ask her father for advice we see it's Golum, who gives his daughter the advice to find him, and make him explain, then decide if he is worthy of her heart or not.

Parker leaves the occult book store more confused than ever, and with no place to go. he finds himself on the wrong back street. one where no one can hear you. that is when the demon rears it's head. it's calling Parker's name and obviously trying to kill him. Parker fights back and ends up throwing the lightening again in the end. after he cooks the demon with lightening, Parker dumps a full magazine in the back of it's head to be safe. we watch this last bit from a sort of mystic window where a shadow figure, obvioulsy displeased, comments that more extreme measures will need to be taken.

I'm thinking the misadventures might eventually bring Parker face to face with some of the thugs of New York, with Parker saving them from Cape Killers. I imagine some of them would comment on the sound of Parker's cloak (Rather disturbing sounds are apparently picked up from it)

SOLO:
One man war on Terror

Premise:
James Bourne a.k.a Solo, after the events of the CivilWar has decided to ultimately join the SHRA working part-time as a member of ForceWorks and as a lone operative for S.H.I.E.L.D.

We learn that Solo has a not so 'Solo' life outside of his activities as a soldier for hire, he is in fact a practicing Mormon and lives a quiet peaceful life on a large 50 acre homestead in Arizona, with his family which includes 'three' wives and eleven kids! In his civilian life he goes under the fake alias of 'Jonah Givens' and supports his very large family by his black ops work.

Tone:
My basic idea is it's 'Big Love' meets 'The Bourne Identity' heres a man who everyone assumes is a 'Lone-Wolf' type, when in reality he's a loving family man in a not so normal family. He lives a life style most of America wouldn't approve of yet he's out there taking on evils like A.I.M. and Hydra and swapping blows with the likes of Spider-man, Taskmaster and Baron Zemo!

My plan would be to mix family drama, espionage, and the question of religous freedom about a guy who actively fights terrorist Muslim fanatics yet he himself is a bit of an extremist himself and the story opportunities inherent in such a situation.

Cast of Characters:

*Solo a.k.a James Bourne a.ka. Jonah Givens - Solo is a man of many layers and contradictions, his choices in life will be the focus of the series.

*Marla Givens - First wife of James and the matriarc of the Givens clan, she is the only wife to know what James actually does for a living. Marla is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and is James' confidant, his rock.

*Tammy Givens - The second wife and the jealous one to boot! Tammy has steadly gained weight since marrying James and thinks he no longer fancies her, which could be further from the truth, but her insecurities will lead to her down fall. Tammy was a former scientist for A.I.M.

*Rosali Givens - James' youngest wife and most recent, Rosali is a spitfire! fun and free wheeling she really gets james motor running sexually! Tammy hates her of course. Rosali was once a superhero strictly Z-list (You wouldn't know her) she went by the name 'Solar-woman' and has fire based powers.

Note: Solo has eleven kids ranging from ages 9 months to 15 years of age. I'm not gonna go into to much detail heres the breakdown...

Jonah Jr. - 15
Jesse - 14
Randy - 13
Bobby - 12
Carly&Cara(twins) - 11
Hugh - 10
Mary - 7
Lanny - 5
Mandy - 2
Samuel - 9months

Interesting, polygamy, childrearing, espionage, and action... I like the tone. I like how the wives sound. you have a hell of a brain.

Danke!

I was thinking about a way of bring a family situation into a superhero book yet not be boring and well it dawned on me, Solo! as in one, singular and the fact not much is known about Solo's personal life I figured what would be more interesting than a Mormon superhero with three wives, who fights muslim extremists and he's a extremist himself?

Dude it hit me like a lighting bolt!
