its pathetic when a director like bryan singer cannot even do fight scenes correctly and the ones he has done have been primitive and rather useless

what the sequel needs is a director who understands the character and can utilise his lead actor correctly and fulfil his potential.
Not only that, but fight choreographers should be used to plan out some great action and fist fights
an example is Wesley Snipes who together with his stunt and fight team came up with stunning fight sequences for BLADE and BLADE 2.
then when David goyer gets his way, he ruins what the first 2 movies started, he throws out all Snipes's stunt team and produces some rubbish fight scenes with shoddy camera work for BLADE trinity, quite possibly the worst movie ever seen, although not as bad as Superman Returns.
you can almost guarentee that Singer is going to have some weak, short and shoddy fight scenes that will not do justice to superman.
He simply does not have the mental capacity to understand such basic techniques and methods
its time for a change
hire someone with real talent, like a Del Toro or Raimi
Forget all this "bastard child" offspring storylines and bring us some real action and story
