What I get from that is, that Smallville is an established show and the promotional work is on the air each week. If he was asked to participate in something that was "special" he would.

To be fair this is a forum about Smallville. Not just to praise the show, but to criticize it as well. if tony wants to criticize the show, thats his perogative. i do think he has changed because at least now he is talking about the show and not the movie that shall not be mentioned.

I agree with Kaboom. C'mon guys, one thing that I really enjoy about this forum, and the reason I don't visit other forums at all is that we can be respectful to anothers comments.(Or at least the regulars can be)

Tony(Sorry, just more used to that name) does have a right to his opinion, and we should respect that. Thus far he has been rather tactful in his comments. I think he has changed as well, I hope it sticks. We are here because of our love of SV.

As far as the show, I didn't get to see it.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. It's too bad they didn't interview Schneider though, he always has some interesting and humerous things to say. And I agree, I hope Welling never gains the Hatcher attitude about the show. My favorite Lois has only started lately admitting she was on L&C. Back when it first ended, she wouldn't talk about it, or her castmates or anything at all. It's like she just wanted to forget it.

Why do you think this Forum is never that big ? Even when the Show is on its never that big & yeah tehre have been some major complaints baout this Forum in the past but now most just dont bother mentioning Smallville in any type of way pretty much just leads to trouble

Watching 'Look Up In The Sky' {the 2-hour version] last night, and seeing all of the different incarnations of SUPERMAN thought out history . I reaziled that smallville's Clark still has a lot of work to do before he can don the famous iconic Red cape & boots with The blue tights . And I just found al description of smallville season 4 Bull ****.

season 6 is giving me high hopes with a season about Lex.

To bad Clark can not be trapped in The Phantom Zone half for of the Season. Not that I hate Clark or anything but in terms of Lex that would just be a REALLY GOOD OPPORTUNITY for LEXZOD to shine with no Clark in the way. Give MR a chance to carry this Show on his own. Since pretty much most Fans love MRs Lex

As far as the documentary goes, I'm gonna buy it too. I am really interested to see how Superman has evolved in the media. I own much of it, but it'll be interesting at least.

I dont hate Clark I hate the writing and I agree with Kal-El 8 there break down of season 4 was bs. I thought season 1-3 were dead on but since then bs. But there is always season 6 which I am looking forward towards. As I have stated many times I do not hate SV or the actors well maybe one (damn you Lana ) what I dislike is the writing and that they know little about Superman (as stated in the doc.) so they write him like Spider-Man. If that was the case I felt they should have read up more on Superman before jumping into things. I mean if Jon Peters can admit he is wrong then there is still a chance SV can get it right.

In fact I find it funny that the most disliked show in season 4 was the one that most show Superman (the show where Lex was split in two.)

I know which sucks. I do not think having Clark being trapped 10 Minutes later in The Phantom Zone is hmm whats the word I am loooking for "cheap" or something around there. Clark gets trapped 10 Minutes Later he finds LEXZOD in FOS they have a fight & Clark say something like "Yo Zod look over there" Clark super speeds throws LEXZOD then LEXZOD gets up & says something like "damn you" throws Clark again & then Jor El gives Clark some kind of weapon from the thingy & then LEXZOD gets the upper hand but Clark tricks LEXZOD & bye bye LEXZOD all in a 2 Minute or less Fight.

PLEASE, give me a break , he did no such thing not even in Season 5. SUPERMAN in training which we didn't even see. Clark still has that Childish Behaviour . {that I sometimes just want to get a 4 x 4 with solid green Kryptonite and beat the Childish Behaviour out of him.}

Man Even Gerard Christopher version of Clark kent is much more mature than Wellings Clark on SV .

Which is just sad .

Your probably right, but you gotta give them a break sometimes. They do, as you said, have a budget they have to follow. They give us some dang good stuff with a tv budget. While the writing may not be spot on all the time, when they do get a well written episode, they knock it out of the park.

I don't think we'll ever get to see a full blown super fight, but they do what they can for the fan, SFX-wise.
