A Good Day to Die Hard

I thought it was an acceptable movie but it was not a Die Hard movie either. It felt way too generic and vague to be Die Hard. Which is ironic because it is the first movie specifically written to be a Die Hard film. The previous three films were all originally written for entirely different franchises. Even the original movie was not written initially to become Die Hard.

It was also a story that Willis talks about in the commentary for DH4 and he says there that he didn't like it.

rewatching the first movie for Christmas eve right now.

They really need to make one last one. Get a competent director, good script, and most importantly actually try. And I'd love if they set it at Christmas again
