A Heroes For Hire TV series.

I like it, though I'd probably go with Terry Crews as Luke Cage. Kodjoe might be a fine choice he just doesn't look that menacing. That said I like the premise and agree that Heroes for Hire is ideal for TV as part of the larger MCU. I like that SHIELD plays a part and that there is a lot of opportunity to get the street level heroes and villians in the show. Cage and Fist could provide a perspective and comment on some of the larger happenings in the MCU and possibly even be involved in an Avengers movie when there is an "all hands on deck" type scenario.

Would be cool if it happend and we where close to a sorta h4h with jessica jones show. But abc passed on making it. But as nice as h4h would be I still like to see cage/fist get live action films. And marvel has been saying they want to do them down the road.

Instead of a Hulk TV show, I think this is a much better idea for a tV show. Although a series of films wouldn't be bad either. We've never seen a good two man comic duo movie. Batman and robin does not count. These could be Marvels version of the Lethal Weapon or Rush Hour movies....just without all the slapstick.

THis would make a really cool show or a movie. Not a fan of some of their fan choices but itd be cool concept

I really wanna see Heroes for Hire happen, but I'd rather see them in the MCU than TV since there's never been a good live-action superhero show not created by Joss Whedon, imo.

But I do agree this is better-suited for TV than the Hulk. If I heard they were really going ahead with this as a show, I couldn't help but feel equally excited and concerned for it. I don't really care for those casting choices at that site, though. Especially the kid they picked for Danny.

Great article, which I agree with. The HEROES FOR HIRE almost seem tailor made for TV. So do POWER PACK and DAREDEVIL to varying degrees.

That kid is almost 30 and pretty good martial artist. You also have to take into it that those casting choices are for a TV show. TV will always chose young and good looking actors.

Now if this was a Movie the casting would be totally different.

Well, guess better that than Taylor Lautner... who surprisingly is also a champion martial artist. :wow:

Well sure, but there's young and good-looking, then there's looking like a high-schooler. Maybe there are mostly old pictures out there, but I googled the guy, and he looks like the kind of baby-faced teen-grown-up you'd find on Glee. If this show were to be on the CW, fine, cast the prettiest boy model you can find. If it's on cable, they're more likely to focus on choosing whatever's best for the role, and that's not a kid who's still playing high-schoolers. I have no interest in a Heroes for Hire show on the CW that picks it's leads from the ABC Family/Disney pool. It's that kind of thinking that's led to so many crappy superhero shows in the past. The only true difference between TV and movies is the budget. All other differences are imaginary creative restrictions that only serve to hold back the quality of the show in question.

As for the skills, the only evidence I've found referencing that guy's martial arts skills is that he played someone proficient in martial arts on a short-lived TV series, which, considering this is the world of TV and stunt doubles we're talking about, isn't much evidence at all. Also, he's 25. As a 26-year-old, I object to that being considered "almost 30." :cwink:

In the comics Iron fist started out in his late 20's... and only recently turned 33. Most Iron fists don't life past 33.

Yes, but everyone plays younger on TV and in the movies. A 30-year-old would have no problem playing someone in his 20's.

I dont care about the age of the guy they picked for Iron Fist. I just dont think he's a good actor
