A hypothetical Kingdom Come animated movie challenge

Ok so if you were one of the guys doing DC animated films and somehow you or the big guys upstairs decided one day that they'll make a direct-to-DVD/Blu-Ray animated movie adapting Kingdom Come.

If you were in charge(let's say you were pretty much Bruce Timm), how would you approach it? Especially in terms of casting voice actors, how much of the book will be adapted into under 2 hours and what would be changed and the most important aspect, honouring the visual artwork done by THE Alex Ross.

Regarding voice acting, I think it's a given that we'll want(unless any of you feel otherwise):

George Newburn/Tim Daly-Superman
Kevin Conroy-Batman
Susan Eisenberg-Wonder Woman
Clancy Brown-Lex Luthor

Kingdom come would come up better as a mini-series.

I'd keep it away from Timm and crew, for one he's written it off as undoable, also they are(were) great at what they do, but this would need another level of CG. More in line with Arkahma City level CG graphics, or at least DCU Oline opening credit level. Which would need a much bigger budget and different style and approach than the toons or the Direct to DVD movies offer.

As far as cast I'd stay away from the JLU cast, yeah they are enormously popular and recognizable, but intrinsically tied to another look and tone.
If anything for these aged characters I'd seek out some of the even more vintage players. Anyone who is left from the 70's - from live action Linda Carter to Adam West and who ever is still around from the Hanna Barbera era Super Friends cast.

Also I've seen this image a dozen times, but for some reason this time when I looked at Hawkman's beak, it merged with Atom Smasher's yellowish shoulder, now I can't see Hawkman as anything but Foghorn Leghorn
