With The Dark knight Rises being Nolan's last Batman movie, there is much speculation going around about the future of the Batman franchise. Warner Bros have even hinted at rebooting the franchise once again.

But do we really want to see Bruce Wayne as Batman for a third time around?
I feel that a live action Batman Beyond film would be the best bet. It hasn't been done yet so it would be fresh, the idea is very original and just by watching the show you can see the potential in Batman Beyond. It is completely different from the Bruce Wayne/Batman but still feels like a perfect part of the Batman mythos. Just by the design and the look of the futuristic Gotham it draws you into this fantastical future world yet it is still the same old Gotham. In Terry McGinnis we have a great hero, he is the kid from the wrong side of the tracks yet is perfectly suited for the role as The Dark Knight . Batman Beyond also shows us the fate of several key characters, including Bruce Wayne and in his relationship with Terry you have a chance at great drama. Batman Beyond also present fresh exciting villains. With all this it would make a fantastic movie.

Am I only one who would rather see a Batman Beyond movie over another Bruce Wayne adventure?

I look forward to hearing your opinions.

:woot:

Sure, why not? I loved the Batman Beyond cartoon. Maybe adapt Return of the Joker? Or if they want to go the route of a new villain, Ink was a pretty cool character. Lots of possibilities.

As much as I love Bruce Wayne, I don't think we need ANOTHER reboot after TDKR. Sure, bring in Brucie for the eventual Justice League movie(s) but how much more Batman do we need with all these other great superheroes waiting to be adapted? Terry McGinnis could be a cool alternative that would still keep the Batman name.

I would rather have this then another damn reboot & the cartoon was good

Batman Beyond would be a awesome movie. But have return of the joker as the sequel.

I've been saying pretty much the same thing. After Nolan completes his trilogy, I think it'd be great to see a Batman Beyond film(s). :D

Who would play Old Man Bruce? Bale in old age makeup and a caine, if we were basing this off of Nolan's continuity?

If it got a good director that could do the futuristic, tech-based, slick style of the cartoon and a good cast then there's no reason it wouldn't be a good idea. It could be a big blockbuster if made right, and could be really fresh and innovative. So much potential for a trilogy. A Return of the Joker sequel would be amazing, just imagining Keaton as Old Bruce gives me chills.

Bruce Wayne would be played by Jon Voight.Terry McGuinnes would be played by possibly an unknown actor.

Liam ****ing Neeson for Old Man Bruce.

Jon Voight is a good actor, but I am not sure he would be a good fit for an old Bruce Wayne and be believable as a guy that used to be Batman. Eastwood would be cool, but I don't know if he'd be willing to do it. Maybe they could put Kevin Conroy in old age makeup and just have reprise the role.

I think this would be a great idea, tbh. Much better than yet another reboot.

I seriously doubt Clint Eastwood would ever be interested in such a thing, though. Plus, he may be a little too old.

This man. This man right here and no one else.

Stephen Lang would make a great old Bruce Wayne.

Yes!!!! A thousand times, yes!!!

This is what they should do after Nolan's Batman trilogy is finished.

How many of you guys would rather have this then a reboot ? I know I would

I say no Batman Beyond movie.

I want a very comic-book-ish type of Batman movie.

I think it could work, but it would have to be after the Nolan series ends.

Of course. In reality, no, Clint Eastwood is not gonna do a Batman movie - just 'ultimate fancasting' here.

But I think Bruce Willis could, would & should do it.

Blade Runner meets Batman------>Batman Beyond:hrt:
