I just saw the photos for Doom & meh is all that I can say.

I suspect the photo is of "proto-Doom" when he first becomes scarred, and only has a rudimentary set of armour (his equivalent of Iron Man's cave armour). He'll have a more kick-ass suit at the end of the movie. This is based on pure optimism on my part, because how much more can they screw up the most basic superhero franchise on the planet.

Still waiting for a trailer is all I can say. No, it's not what I would do for Doom (if indeed that's the look he has for most of the time he's in the film) but I think without seeing or actually knowing the context of images or specifics of the film I remain agnostic.

I can't say I'm optimistic nor critical about it since if you look back countless times, whenever we have a leaked photo appear from a set without any context to the story, people automatically think it'll "fail". That being said...it's a costume guys. A costume. Can't stress this enough...it's. a. costume.

2. Put a big "D" inside a shield on his chest, have him carry a big hammer, and have him played by Dirk Nowitzki.

3. Conceived by midichlorians. Then retcon the origin in the next movie to make him secretly Reed's brother.
