Hey everyone who welcomed me back, thank you all :)

....................

Nice to know you are doing well now C. Lee. better at least than you were before making your return to the Hype.

.......................

Doom looks pretty good in the previous movies, and I don't agree about how bad those movies are considered to be, they are pretty entertaining, and decent as movies.

I saw the ASL ice bucket challenge, and I can't stop tapping the desk with my fingers looking at how creative human stupidity is.
I'm amazed at the stuff people complain about in regards to CBMs, whether it's Natalie Portman's **** not being as big as Kat Dennings', how Amazonian Gal Gadot looks, or who plays the intergalactic god-like being that will be covered in thick prosthetic, purple make-up and speaking through a voice modulator.
I have a better complaint to say about Gadot, her cup size is smaller than that of Wonder Woman, she is not fit to play the role :argh:

Here's what I've always wondered: Are e-cigarettes solely an alternative to regular cigarettes? In that, people started smoking regular cigarettes, but then realized "Well ****, this is not good for my ability to walk 10 feet without collapsing in a coughing fit", and then switched to e-cigs as a healthier alternative? Or do people start with e-cigs outright? It plagues my brain as a curiosity that I cannot answer (or I'm too lazy to look into it).

It is indeed the former, Brian. I was a pack a day smoker. I knew it was horrible for me. But I've always found the IMAGE smoking very elegant and aesthetically pleasing, which is why I did it.

Then when I found ecigs, I was elated. I started with the cigalikes (the "literal" ecigs that resemble cigarettes) but I've since graduated to the 2nd generation "personal vaporizers" or "tank" models.

I'm now vaping solely for flavor, there's not even any nicotine in the juices I use. I feel way better and I enjoy my habit/hobby a lot more.

Basically, I began vaping as an alternative to smoking. But now, it's my replacement. I wouldn't recommend anyone vape who doesn't smoke, as it's very easy to get addicted to nicotine.

Ugh, this damn laptop. Was almost done sorting music and the damn thing froze up on me. Luckily I wasn't transferring anything and nothing was lost but I'm still quite sick of it. Hope to get a bunch of stuff sorted from what was given to me today and then start on the hyper-organization of my music.

It's actually both. A lot of long time smokers are making the switch because it's better than putting hundreds of toxic chemicals into your body but how safe exactly is still yet to be determined. Funny thing is smoking real cigs among teens is at an all time low for quite some time but e-cig use is going through the roof right now among the young ones. I still smoke regular cigs but may give vaping another go now that the tech has improved. I'd much rather just quit all together but not sure if I can give up my last remaining vice.

Also hit 30 days without a drink yesterday, yay! :woot:

Well, whatever leads to less second-hand smoke, the better. I grew up around second-hand smoke all my life, and it's less than pleasant. I have no real concrete proof behind it, but I've always assumed it was the cause of the asthma I dealt with as a small child. So, if these little magic sticks can eliminate that, I'm all for it. Plus, you know, the whole "not dying from it" part. That's good too.

Indeed. Here's my current setup:

It looks like a weapon.

Do you dispose of your enemies with it when you're done?

Well I don't think anyone besides big tobacco people try to claim it's as bad as real cigs but the long term health effects are still unknown since it's just too new. People thought that nutrasweet and splenda were the healthiest things too when those came out. Only time will tell but I don't doubt that it's much less harmful than real cigs. But it will be at least a decade before any real, peer reviewed and objective science comes from it. A lot of the reports people link to now saying it's bad is actually funded by big tobacco because they are scared

No offense but that looks completely stupid to me. I see people all over the place these days whip out these giant vaping instruments and blow out huge puffs of vapor and although the may not smell like a smoker they still look just as big of an ass clown to most folks IMO
