Without an emoticon, I can't gauge the irony here....

I'm trying to keep up the fun, even with severe bronchitis (and, oddly, an accompanying eye infection!). They said on American Idol (just aired in the UK tonight) that flu had swept America. Well, sadly, it swept over to the UK too and it swept right into me. Darn that flu. I'm speaking behind a mucus-splattered monitor here.

I don't use the icons that much. I was just messing around. You know what is hilarious, my girlfriend and I are watching that right now, we DVR'ed it. They just said the quote about the flu. My father in law to be has bad bronchitis, I've been sick all week and my girlfriend is horribly sick. Not to mention my dad as well.

I'll admit I missed this thread 'cos it was a sticky. Until now that is. I've said my congratulations. Now all I hope is he finds out good news on the sequel. Although if this is like "American Idol" where's his YouTube segment of unbelievable embarrassment? Inquiring minds want to know.
