In the previews, Cyclops is part of the film but this is meant to be a prequel to the X-Men series. Wolverine didn't first meet Cyclops until X-Men 1, so how can Cyclops be in this movie? (Unless it's really unfaithful to the original trilogy, which, judging by Sabertooth's appearance, might be..)

Beware of the spoilers if you haven't seen the movie yet:
This is a teenage pre-X-Men version of Cyclops who is kidnapped by Stryker. He and Wolverine never meet, and when they are in the same scene, Cyclops' eyes are covered, so he doesn't see Wolverine and they don't 'meet' at all.
Wolverine loses his memory, so he doesn't remember Cyclops when they meet again in X1.
