I've been in the dark for decades about a man's seemingly natural inclination towards images of scantily clad women. I'm betting this subject has been tackled before but I've yet to discover any information about it. What baffles me is just why guys need to see women with as little scrap of clothing on as possible in print or whatnot to turn them on. As a woman, just a really hot looking guy in tight pants and a shirt is enough. Why do guys have to see so much to have fantasies of hot women? I just don't get it.

Cause it's hot. By the way, I'd much rather see them in nothing. And yes, seeing a chick who's hot dressed normaly is also hot, but the less clothing the better.

There are some theories that indicate that this need to see women unclad, in pornography, etc...is a power thing. It's like "I can see her and I control the circumstances, and she doesn't know, bwahahahaha" or something along those lines. I suppose in some circumstances, that might have something to do with it, with some baser instinct. As for men responding to woman who reveal themselves? It's the same reason many men respond to women who flirt with them openly. A woman who acts like she's "good to go" as opposed to one who, well, isn't, is an attractive concept to many men.

But am I to understand that people here think men can only get aroused by looking at naked women? It's more socially acceptable to SHOW arousal, but come on...
