How did Bale got the part?, I mean did they went with an open audition or did they select him because he was popular with the fans or famous?

And just a quick question but if WB or Nolan thought about including Robin in the sequels how do you think they would cast him?, like they casted Bale or with an open audition?

Nolan already liked Bale, but was very impressed with his "intensity." At least that's what I've read.

Man, i'd hate to have seen Jake as Bruce and Batman, no offence but I don't think he would have been able to play the part at all.
