So does anyone else read these? I'm a huge fan of Snicket's, or Handler, whoever, work. Speculation about how it will end?

Ive read 1-6 so far. Very good series. :)

The 13th one will be very intense

I say Olaf will die

Hopefully. I'd think it rather a pity to lose such a colorful character, however dastardly he may be.

i havent read 4-6 yet... butt if spoilers are discussed.. use the tags.. thank youuuuuuuu

Well, hes purely evil, yet hes at the core of the series. He makes the books what they are.

Quite, i found anyway.

I've read the first 10 and am about halfway through book the eleventh.

I like them. They're nice and quirky and have that Tim Burton/Roald Dahl feeling going.

I liked the movie a lot better though. Such a funny film (Jim Carrey's best comedic work in a long long time) and such a shame there won't be a sequel... :(

Roald Dahl is one of my favorite all time authors. Great writer.

Well, I also think we will find out something very bad about the Baudelaire parents, not sure what though.

If you have read the Beatrice Letters you will know by now that there are
two Beatrice Baudelaires...one that Lemony knew and one that is apparently, from what I could gather from both the Letters and from a phrase in the Penultimate Peril, a lost Baudelaire sibling who is on the trail of the Baudelaires
So it sounds like the last book should be very revealing indeed.
