A singing 'American Psycho' planned for the stage

The book and film are among my favorites in their categories.

the "American Psycho II" movie already attempted to degrade Ellis and Harron's respective efforts...we don't need a second attempt.

I've done my best to avoid the sequel.

Singing with Mozart's Einke Kleine's melody:

I want
To stab
you with a big knife

Im not
A psycho
I just wanna see you die. . .

now wheres his chainsaw

Bale should reprise his role. Not only was he prefect, but he can sing as well.

But, he won't. and this might be bad. the sequel was teh lame.

IIRC didn't want Ellis write an unused script for the movie, that had a musical ending? I swear I read this somewhere

That was an idea for an ending to the movie yes, it would end with a musical number featuring Bateman and everyone else, including the dead. Reminds me of that scene in Hot Fuzz where after the end of Romeo and Juliet they all start singing

:awesome:

The film was perfect in its adaptation of the book's aesthetic and undertones.

Taking that material and putting it in musical form, whether as a stage production or a final 'out of left field' musical number in the picture, makes no sense...whatsoever.

^ That thought gives me visions of Lemmywinks from "South Park."

I love the film and the book. The sequel looks awful and I refuse to see it, but a musical sounds....interesting.:o
