I've never really gotten the Portman love, or the praise for her talent. She can be REALLY good sometimes... But talent is also about consistency and she's hit or miss. She doesn't seem to get that if you are an actor and you think you are A. Doing something JUST for the paycheck or B. You feel the material is beneath you, then that is EXACTLY when you have to dig deep an put some freaking effort into the material and your own performance. For one, no one will PAY you that overblown paycheck if you don't deliver the goods.

Cut and dry... And think Portman is a lazy actress depending on the project. If she wants to wonder why her career is stalled... That's why.

I don't like the idea behind Face of the Face, and the lasting effect of that story.
I think one of the best things done in Batman comics in the past decade is Jeph Loeb fixing Harvey Dent's condition, even though the story introducing HUSH is a mess.

Dent's part in HUSH is the best bit of randomness.
The adoption in FotF is truly weird.
