SO the rumor mill is spinning and some are saying Marvel got the rights back for F4 in exchange for the X-Men TV rights since those 2 new shows were announced yesterday. This is pretty damn exciting if true

I'd say that's a fair trade, but that better include the villains too or no dice, would love to see the Avengers take on Galactus. :hmr:

Legion's being made by the showrunner of Fargo, so that's all kinds of awesome.

There's a good chance there was a trade. Fox's disastrous outing with the last FF movie and the fan's response to it should make it something they want to get rid of.

It would be of major benefit to Infinity Wars if it's true. The only cosmic elements Marvel wouldn't own would be perhaps the Shiar Empire.

Word on the street is one of the 3 unnamed MCU films just announced will be the F4. If they give it the Ant-Man treatment and keep it low budget it could be the reboot F4 desperately needs

I think it would be a good idea if they are introduced in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Why not give them the Spider-Man treatment? No origin. They are already the FF. Tell the origin in scenes during the credits.

Of late Marvel has included the Thing in their Guardians comics...I wonder if maybe there's something more to that now.

All you have to do is have Starlord and crew run into Reed and Sue on some space station, have him say how they look like some astronauts that went missing when he was a kid, have Ben and Johnny then walk up and say "Ain't it about time we went home?"....and there you have it.

Agreed. It can be done through archival footage or something.

Yeah I agree. By now everyone gets the idea how the F4 gets their powers just have them pop up in an area the Gotg are at.

I'm pretty sure both Spidey and FF will get treatments like The Incredible Hulk did

They better. It's not like they don't already have several origin movies and a few thousand comics over half a century for people to see beforehand. If they have another origin movie... :argh:

I don't think an origin story for FF is a good idea either. But I also don't think just throwing them in with GotG is a good idea. :p

The A team had an origin story that lasted a few seconds. FFFF could do the same.

My fear is the GA not understanding it's now with Marvel (if that is the case) because of the BS campaign FAUX did with this last disaster

Insert a random cameo of RDJ, Paul Rudd or ScarJo in the trailer = problem solved.

Not to derail the FF party, but I decided to rethink my parts for my gaming PC. After shipping and taxes, it will cost me around $589. $80 above my initial budget. :(
