Interesting that they seem to be following the Johnston film's "twist," and also that this film appears to take place over the course of just one night. Awesome trailer, though!Synopsis:
If I were Whannell, I would still be pissed about it. Save that **** for after the movie comes out, not before anyone has even seen a goddamn teaser.Okay, this trailer basically confirms that the "reveal" at Universal was basically just a Spirit Halloween version. Whew.
I was at the NYCC panel and didn't see a good look at the beast in this (I was in the back). What does he look like?Okay, this trailer basically confirms that the "reveal" at Universal was basically just a Spirit Halloween version. Whew.
It's at 2:34 in the trailer. Kinda dark but it's clear that it's legitimate makeup work and not whatever the hell that was at Universal:I was at the NYCC panel and didn't see a good look at the beast in this (I was in the back). What does he look like?
I haven't been following the news on this movie but what's the box office tracking been? Maybe they thought interest wasn't where it should have been a few days out?Saw a clip on Twitter that appears to be the transformation scene in full and stopped watching. What a ridiculously bone-headed decision to reveal this ahead of time, literally days before the movie’s release.
The person in charge of that decision should be fired. Just absurd.

My dude chill lol. I don't disagree with you, I'm just saying that unfortunately that's might be the reason.Doesn't matter. Release new, better TEASERS to TEASE the transformation and Wolf Man all you want, but don't spoil it online in full. It reduces the incentive for people to go see the film and see what it all looks like. Obviously, there will be a lot more to the film itself and maybe even a different kind of transformation, but that's besides the point.
Nosferatu is killing it at the box office. That film's marketing didn't show Count Orlock AT ALL before the film's release, and they still haven't released teasers/TV spots showing him weeks later.
