No lightning bolt? No white hair?

Gotta give it to Marvel, they found a look that embraces the comics but grounds it in realism.

It's hard to tell from the pic, but it seems like Quicksilver's outfit is sleek and form-fitting, like spandex. It's sad that Marvel Studios can recognise that aesthetically, such a lightweight material makes sense for a speedster, but the folks making the Flash TV show and their clunky leather suit don't.

Might even be a unique fabric designed to withstand super-speed. One of the age-old "real physics" arguments about Flash, Pietro and other speedsters has been about the fact that any normal clothes would be ripped right off his body.

Gives a whole new meaning to "streaking."

You pretty much knew that Whedon would come up with something better than the freaking silver mop-top, Michael Jackson jacket goggle wearing monstrosity that they came up with in DOFP. However Whedon and the producers and costume designers just freaking **** slapped DOFP.

In fact in DOFP he will now be called Q-SINO from here on out.

It's not Marvel vs. Fox. It's about how they did QS, which is a perfectly valid topic. While both versions have differences from the comic counterpart it's clear as someone stated, Marvel was able to balance real world with staying faithful to the comics. DOFP did neither, that's just a fact.

This has nothing to do with DOFP as a film which I'm sure will be good, and I am looking forward to it.

Get over yourself. This is a quicksilver thread, there are two versions of quick silver it's natural to compare them. One looks incredibly stupid IMO as someone who grew up with the comics. Again I said nothing of the quality of DOFP.

STOP FUELING FOX VS MARVEL FIGHTS!!! I too prefer the AoU design to the DoFP one, but I'm not going around bragging about it or being a jerk about it. People need to stop acting like this is some kind of race where someone gets a gold star or something. It's WAY old.

Also, since it seems like Wanda has a HYDRA emblem or her outfit, you have to assume that's what she wears early in the film.

Good catch, I didn't even notice that! So in the MCU it appears that Hydra will be the replacement for working for the Brotherhood.

Wow, he looks definitely better than this wimp from DoFP. Don't get me wrong, but I think that the whole difference between these two incarnations of Quicksilver is in the actor chosen to play him. I reckon Evans Peters appears to be some weakling and typical looser what doesn't actually suits my imagination of this character. He's not convincing at all. At the same time, Aaron Johnson seems more reckless, looks like the type of troublemaker. He doesn't lack this charisma and attraction that is absolutely necessary. Just look at his photos - he often has a puckish smile on his face and a sparks in his eyes. I'm sure he's gonna own this role totally. Not only does he fit it physically, but also he has a great talent to play this kind of tough and feisty character.

I don't think we can draw too much from concept art. Remember with the first avengers Cap didn't have his ears covered, and BW had the same hair from IM2. It's called "concept" art for a reason. This will be the basic look, but I expect there to be some subtle changes, perhaps adding more highlights to the hair.

I think Wanda & Pietro will have a fairly different, more canonical look by the end of the movie. Still won't be anything straight-up comic-booky like the wimple headdress and pink tights for Wanda, nor the lightning bolt-logo spandex for Pietro; but Pietro probably acquires the silver hair by movie's end, and Wanda starts looking a lot more...scarlet.

I think Pietro's concept are will be pretty close, if not exact to his final look. It's blue spandex type material, he's got the spiky hair parted in the middle, even if the color isn't quite right. Wanda's change isn't that radical of a change if you look at what they did in X-men evolutions. I think they tried to combine the 616 look with the Ultimate version.

Wanda has the gloves and the thigh high boots, even though they are black and not scarlet.
