Wonder if any of the Sports shoes have approached Marvel to make shoes? lol

Desperately grasping for something to make fun of. Just look at the name of the ones making the connection and that will go a long way in explaining it.
Not really, it's a valid comment. The Enterprise uniforms consist of a blue shirt and black pants. This concept art has black pants and a blue shirt.

And it still looks awesome imo. Weird gloves aside of course.

That's some quality nonsense right there.

Seriously, if you can't see a certain similarity between the two costumes, you're being willfully blind.

Reminds me of the "Hurr durrrrrr Winter Soldier looks like New Goblin!11!! this movie is gunna suck like spoder man 3" BS that went around

The material of the shirt does look pretty similar to the Star Trek uniforms.

(And Winter Soldier does kinda look like New Goblin, if you squint)

I think the QS/Star Trek comparison is much more substantial than the Winter Soldier/New Goblin bit. That one was literally just the fans taking one detail of the costume and running with it. Unless you're specifically looking for the fine details of the QS costume, it honestly, at least from that sketch, looks like a guy running around in one of the blue shirt Starfleet uniforms.

It does look like a JJ Abram Star Trek uniform....but I think those look cool and is a practicle way to do Quicksilver's blue outfit so it's not really a problem for me lol.

I agree. I don't have a problem with it at all. I'm just getting annoyed that some people act like there's not a comparison to be made, and that anyone who has pointed it out is just trying to troll.

Yep, feel the same way.

The only thing I will say is this. CyclopsWasRight seems to have a thing about Marvel Studios and Fox, so I understand why some would receive the joke poorly.

Yeah, there are only so many ways to make a plain blue shirt look fancy and expensive :funny:

Come now, it's all just a bit of fun. People are ok to poke fun at these movies, I mean spiderman makes fun of people's outfits all the time.

These aren't sacred texts after all

I just hope his outfit won't look so much pajamas... xD

In fact I would have been OK with the brown hair even if it's just to distinguish him from the X-Men one.

They basically did the same hair style, or rather coloring, as DOFP.

However, I think the shade of gray and the hairstyle suits it better.

Liking the hair blonde/white. Looks like Aaron is still rocking the facial hair.

Why give him the same hairstyle as DOFP? They should've had it less floppy and more gelled back or cut short to distinguish it, and to make it more like the comics.

If he is escaping from Strucker that would explain the messed hair and the beard. He will probably look different in the rest of the movie.

It's hard to keep slick backed and gelled hair when you are kicking butt

Spike in Buffy never had any problem.

And apart from maybe in X-Men 1 where his hair flopped down when he awoke, or perhaps X-Men origins Wolverine, or the beginning of The Wolverine where he had long hair, most of the time Hugh Jackman's Wolverine hair always stayed up with the points on top during the X-Men films. Quicksilver's hair doesn't have to be very different from that at all.
