The only one that puts up with QS is Wanda and I hope they go that route. I hope he's extra *****ey.
 
Do people think there will be a verbal sparring match between Stark and Pietro? I'm hoping for an argument scene where they try to outdo each other's snarky comments. And I hope Johnson is up to the task and doesn't look out of his league there.
 
We'll see. I know it had to be a chore for Evans to deal with RDJ because he honestly does improv a lot of that **** we've seen in the films. Though technically Pietro is supposed to be able to think as fast as he moves.
 
Tony will probably give him a nickname like "Speedy Gonzalez" or something. He calls Loki "Reindeer Games", Hawkeye "Legolas" etc.
 
How about accents? Keep his natural British or go eastern European? I say Brit.
 
I bet they will sound british. But it would be cool if they go eastern european.

It's a start, I'd imagine in Avenger 3 both Scarlett & Quicksilver will have more superheroic costumes but for now this works.
 
How well do people think the general audiences will take to Quicksilver? Will his *****eyness cause him to be the breakout character of the movie? Will he become massively popular like Tony Stark, even though in the comics Pietro has never been super popular?

And how "in your face" do you want QS to be? Almost downright nasty and borderline unlikeable? Or more like Stark?
 
His hair in the most recent set pics looks much better. Doesn't look as fluffed up
 
I dig Quicksilver's look. I think the hair really completes it for me. If he didn't have the hair, I think I'd be harder on what he's wearing. But everything looks good to me.

I expect him to be a snarky a-hole, but the character should also have warmth and even his nasty attitude can be endearing in a weird way. His warmth should come out through his love for his sister. Another character I recall being obnoxious while still lovable in a weird way was Anya on Buffy. Or even Spike. I know Whedon can pull that type of character off and have the audience love him.
 
Quicksilver is just an angry guy that wants to do right by people he feels deserve it for the most part.

QS is snarky, but not in a Tony Stark kinda way, he's more reminiscent of Draco Malfoy. With Joss Whedon writing though, I'm sure he'll get general audiences to understand where his attitude stems from.
 
The more I look at these Quicksilver pics, the more I'm thinking those blue lines are gonna be CG'ed to look like lightning or something.
I mean, maybe not, but it could certainly look cool
 
I'm really liking what I see -they got the hair right for starters :)
 
He kind of looks like Quickgray.

What's the deal with his hair here? Is it supposed to be a dye job on some of his hair, or does the character himself wear a wig? Or are they planning to CGI the underside of his hair?

I dunno, not really feeling it. If they were going to put him in an ugly running suit, they could have chosen more classic colors. Light blue, green, etc. At least go "full ugly" with it.

Actually, maybe that's what they're going for. Maybe he has multiple ugly running suits in varying colors, and we'll see him changing them throughout the film.
 
I don't imagine his hair will look like that in the finished film. It's quite clearly a wig.
 
I mean, it'll probably look better on film, but I imagine that's how it looks. Hemsworth and Hiddleston were obviously wearing ridiculous extensions but it looked fine on film
