How about accents? Keep his natural British or go eastern European? I say Brit.

It sounds like Quick will be *****ey for a reason we will be able to understand so that way we can still like him. Hes very overprotective of Scarlet too, so that will give him another layer. Itll be cool to see how he interacts with the other Avengers.

Both Quicksilvers look terrible, really disappointed after seeing how bad the X-Men one looked but this is bad also. Feel let down, hopefully he'll look better on film.

Exactly. I guess they haven't seen any tools with highlights or dyed as such. They should get out more maybe get to a bigger city where these are not so uncommon.

I don't get all the apathy; I think he looks great. Brightly-colored civvy active-wear is basically how I expected him to look months ago (only the reality is much better than my imagination).

Assuming they aren't SHIELD-related somehow, why would they be wearing anything other than civies? The concept of brightly-colored superheroes is still somewhat new novel* to the MCU.

Even accounting for the air resistance, comfort, and flexibility, we can draw inspiration from how "regular" people deal with the issue. In this case, the best I can come up with is cyclist spandex. Bonus points for it being brightly-colored spandex. Alternately, maybe biker leather.

*OK, "New" isn't the right word here, since Cap was donning a colorful costume in WWII, and specifically refers to the notion as "old-fashioned" in TA. But it's still not something that most people would probably ever expect to see, let alone think of doing themselves.

I don't think I've ever heard him speak in his British accent... does speak with it in interviews? Is he like Christian Bale?

He is great with American accents, I have to agree, but when I found out he was English, his accent in Kick-Ass sounded a bit off to me.

Maybe it's just me...

Aaron is slowly starting to phase out his british accent, I've seen several interviews of him, and not only is his voice getting deeper (or he's modulating it as he wishes depending on his mood), but he's got less & less of an english accent, it's kind of like Andy Garfield, they don't sound that british (although Andy is also American) to begin with.

QS probably wont have an official costume until later on in the film. Right now hes wearing your standard tracksuit/shoes. People have to put it in the context of the story. You know how Batmans suit kinda changes over time? Same idea

Didn't zodiac where a black under armor suit during the entire filming of man of steel? How do we know that this suit isn't just a guideline for post as we'll? The white line could be deliberately placed to show where to add cgi lightning bolts, etc.

If this is it, I'll be a little disappointed, but some posters (moreso cbm than here) act as if his costume in the set pics is a deal breaker.

This is a possibility too. If they can CGI over the fake Ultron stand in, they can CGI QS' suit so it looks really awesome on film.

This could be a good design. The lightning stripe isn't so obvious as it isn't in white. It's just the way the two different tones on his costume join together, forming a lightning pattern.

The one thing I'm a little concerned about is his interaction with Hawkeye. In the comics, Hawkeye has a big mouth, and the two of them will get into arguments. The MCU Hawkeye, as played by Jeremy Renner, hasn't really displayed those characteristics. Renner seems more by-the-book and mature so far, and not one to shoot off his mouth or trade verbal blows with Pietro.

Pietro better be a *****e in this. I don't want IM to be the only one with the snarky comments, with Pietro somewhat neutered.
