Get ready for some big reveals when ABC's Once Upon a Time returns on March 9. Executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz preview what's brewing in Fairy Tale Land, Storybrooke and Oz.

- The Wicked Witch of the West (Lost's Rebecca Mader) lands in Storybrooke on the March 9 episode. She shares ties to two familiar characters. Viewers will learn what turned her green and will eventually meet the Wizard. "There might be some other surprises along the yellow brick road," Kitsis says. "We're setting up the fight of all fights: Evil Queen versus Wicked Witch!"

- The March 9 episode will also incorporate the fact that real-life couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (Snow and Charming) are expecting a child. The baby will have a connection to the impending progeny of Sleeping Beauty (Sarah Bolger) and Prince Phillip (Julian Morris), though producers promise there won't be a soap opera-like baby switch.

- Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will encounter a mysterious stranger in New York City (Covert Affairs' Christopher Gorham); Charming will come to the rescue of Rapunzel (Alexandra Metz) atop a tower; and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will meet her French candlestick pal, Lumiere (True Blood's Henri Lubatti).

- Now that Meghan Ory has wrapped the first season of CBS's Intelligence, she may be back as Little Red this spring.

- Expect a splashy season-finale wedding. Will the bride and groom be Belle and Rumple? Emma and Hook? Regina and Robin Hood?

- Cruella de Vil and the princesses from the box-office hit Frozen top the producers' character wish list for Season 4.

They're doing Lumiere? :eek::up:

The Snow/Charming/Aurora/Phillip thing has me scratching my head, though.

cruella would be interesting to mix in.. and I assume they mean the SNOW QUEEN of Frozen, and not Ana the princess ? right...? Elsa would be more entertaining

Well is was princesses, plural, so they want both of them.

It all sounds so exciting, yes please to Regina vs the Wicked Witch! I'm guessing the wedding will be Rumple and Belle's. If those three couples are the only choices they seem like the best one as they can probably keep the Emma/Hook and Regina/Robin storylines going until next season. Rumple and Belle seem the most ready.

I'm thinking Regina/Robin Hood. Who knows what all might have gone down in the year that has passed...

I'm thinking the babies are going to be destined to be together or something like that.

For the record, I don't think that list of couples are the only options for the marriage, as the article never said it was between them, and there's a chance they were likely just spitballing some ideas.

If it's Emma and Hook, I'll lose it.

It won't be. I'm, like, 99.999% sure of that.

Haha!! Just like I've been saying for like a year now, Cruella Deville needs to happen. Awesome to see her topping the list for next season.

I'd be very surprised if it was Emma and Hook, unless it was a contrived reason. Some kind of twist or fake out.

As excited as Meghan Ory may be about her possible return to Once Upon a Time — where during Seasons 1 and 2 she played Ruby/Red Riding Hood-slash-The Wolf — the sartorial ramifications of ABC drama’s midseason twist have her especially jazzed.

Appearing at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on behalf of CBS’ Intelligence, where she costars with Josh Holloway and Marg Helgenberger (and which recently wrapped production), Ory made clear that she is “not gone from Once [Upon a Time],” even though, due to scheduling conflicts, her character has yet to pop up in Season 3.

“Red Riding Hood just kind of disappeared into the mist,” the actress noted. “I’m told she will be back.”

Catching up with Ory after her TCA panel, TVLine asked if she was up to speed on the big twist uncorked at the end of Once’s midseason finale, in which all fairytale characters were sent back to from whence they came as Storybrooke blinked out of existence. She was not, being busy with Intelligence and all, so we looped her in.

With a big smile and a hearty laugh, she proceeded to ask about Storybrooke’s vanishing: “Does that mean I never have to wear my booty shorts again? Because that’d be awesome! That means that if I go back, I get to be Red Riding Hood and wear my cape again, which I love.”

Exclusive Once Upon a Time Bombshell: A
Is Coming — Ready, Set, Speculate!
Warning: The following contains a spoiler of unusual size from the second half of Once Upon a Time Season 3.

By the time ABC’s Once Upon a Time closes the book on its third season, someone will have been definitively denied his or her chance at a happy ending. Because that character will be — gulp — ended.

Series creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis tell TVLine exclusively that the fantastical series will be killing off a major character during the second batch of 11 episodes (launching March 9), resulting in the exit of a series regular. “The character dies, for real,” Kitsis makes clear — at which point his/her portrayer will, make no mistake, leave the show.

Every series regular cast member is a possibility – except for Robert Carlyle. The EPs have agreed to rule out that one candidate, seeing as Rumplestiltskin is theoretically already “gone” (having sacrificed himself in the name of vanquishing Peter Pan).
Almost want it to be Regina just to see Milos' reaction. :funny:

Regina's death, story wise would probably propel the show forward. If the Disney rule of "no killing off princesses" remains in tact... then Snow isn't going anywhere.. and hopefully that involves charming as well (i could see them killing him off to some degree, though it seems repetitive to do him in when he was "dying" this season. Emma is the main character of the show, so i doubt she's going anywhere either.

If the show really had balls it would kill off Regina.

I have a feeling it's going to be Neal though and that would suck majorly.

It would just be so contrived and clearly their way to finally get Hook and Emma together.

Honestly, the only death that would make any sort of major dent on this show would be Emma, Regina or Henry. Anyone other than that, and it would be shocking yes but wouldn't really shake the show up in any major way.
