So basically this is Hanna, if Hanna were a dude? This is the vibe I'm getting from it, and yeah, Taylor's acting . . . . . I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and be like, "Man, maybe the kid will do better in some non-Twilight stuff, 'cause those movies make even the good actors in it seem terrible." But here, if I didn't know better, I'd venture to say that it actually came off worse in this trailer. And yeah, it's cool that you have this 18, 19 year-old actor that can do his own stunts, and is developing into a martial arts expert, but he really does seem to be a rather blank space. Real talk? I'd sooner believe Zack Efron in this film than Taylor.

I actually read the script for this a couple months back and it was pretty good. I like stories that have an "accidental hero" or a normal person gets thrown in a grand adventure kind of thing. The original character Lautner was playing was alot more plain. I guess after Lautner got attached they made his character cooler by making him a good wrestler, giving him a motorcycle, and having him be a parkour performing; martial arts expert.

And yeah his acting isnt good from what we saw. Ehhh

Remember the days when John Singleton was supposed to be that director everyone had to look out for, 'cause folks thought he'd be like the more-relatable Spike Lee, or something like that? I still love his take on Shaft, but everything else since Boyz N' The Hood? Tokyo Drift gets more respect than his offering the the Fast and Furious franchise!!! And he's cock-teased a lot of high-profile projects that haven't gone anywhere. Attached to the damn A-Team for like five years, just to bail on it, and Joe Carnahan swooped in, and that got off the ground in no-time. A directorial career going back twenty years now, and the man has yet to achieve whatever potential people saw in him.

idk, i saw a basic premise, one of some kid suspecting that his parents abducted him as a child. and i though it was going to be some cool psychological thriller...then i see the trailer and it looks like just another uninteresting action flick. color me in shade of 'meh'.

Good Lord, I shut this off. Lautner is horrible. Even a trailer can't hide his bad acting. Some of his reactions in those quick cuts were laughable.

The idea itself if pretty good actually, but the choice for a lead was just used for the bucks.

Only reason I'm posting this is to say how laughable it is. I don't judge anyone in the Twilight movies to be awful cause that material makes anyone looks bad. Everyone of them deserves a chance outside of those movies. Anna Kendrick perfect example.

But seeing Lautner in here and the last trailer makes me lmao. The guy cannot act at least not from what I'm seeing in here. His expression is the same for every reaction. It's obviously just an action vehicle to make him a bigger name because the girls love him so much.

I thought this was going to be totally different when I saw the poster at movie theaters,I thought he was going to play a rapist/serial killer or kid napper for ransom..Then I saw Teenage Jason Bourne!!!

I rarely judge an actor's acting skills(well except novelas/spanish soap operas my wife watches)But da**that was"atrocious",His facial expression when he saw his fake parents getting murdered and"not If I get to you first"line was just WTF moments! !
