Speaking of the Original 616 Gang War Arch, remember the "Ghost of Hammerhead" Story. now that was weird!

Especially since it was the result of the story in which May nearly married Doc Ock so Ock could get his hands on a Private Island and Nuclear Reactor May had been willed by her relatives...

Ghost of Hammerhead was not actually part of the gang war arc. It happened waaaaaaay after it, when Hammerhead got blown up in that nuclear facility on the island that Ock wanted.

But yeah, the story was crazy:

I never read that story. So what was up with his ghost? Was he dead or what?

Like all Marvel characters it seems, he died but got better. His way involved a machine that gave him a duplicate of his body.

The nuclear blast sent him into another dimensional plane until he was somehow able to return to this one.

I loved that story. Just great story telling from start to finish.

Good episode; the interplay between Hammerhead and Silver Sable was funny (though how old is she supposed to be? It's hard to tell with this show's animation style). The two of them took a ridiculous amount of punishment given that neither of them has powers, per se.

I continue to like Liz, though they're subverting the standard "superhero girlfriend dating schedule problems" schtick to the extent that it's almost hard to understand why she's so willing to accept him always being a no-show.

That just about sums up what I wanted to say about this episode. It was pretty good. I don't know about the rest, but I'm liking Liz for how understanding she is towards Peter, maybe she's knows he's Spider-Man ;), but yeah, its a nice change from girl friend coming down hard on Peter for not showing up or not caring about her etc etc. I don't mind if Pete stays with Liz for sometime, even though he thought of Gwen after meeting Liz at her apartment after she said its all ok. Anyways, this episode further solidified of what we suspected, that Captain Stacy knows Peter is Spider-Man. Also, it was a funny little moment when Spidey and Rhino partnered up for 2 minutes or so, nothing that great in my opinion. But I wish they could have used better material for the tech stuff they were after, an Army of Rhinos didn't sound all too appealing, for lack of better word.

Overall, 7.5/10.

Give me some Doc Ock spoilers please guys. What was he up to in this episode?

There wasn't much to Doc Ock in this episode, he remained quite for most of the time. [BLACKOUT]But after the auction was won by Kingsley I believe his name was, Hammerhead and Silversable tried to steal the tech designs for Rhinos from him. Only he replaced the actual thing with an empty case, and Doc Ock (I think he was Doc Ock, his back was turned) was the one to realize that and he sent Rhino after him while Silversable and Hammerhead fought for the fake, along with Spidey. In the end, Norman ended up with the actual thing.[/BLACKOUT]

Just put the poll up. Sorry about that, also took a tip from Joker about having the poll public so you can see who voted what.

Wow, another fantastic episode! :up::up::up:

Silver Sable kicked butt, and it was great seeing Roderick Kingsley! The batles were fantastic as well. Spidey's wisecracks, as always, were great, and I, personally, feel as though this Gang War is going to get stronger and more brutal.

^LOL!

What race is Hammerhead? Is he black? (Yeah, I know his skin isn't dark, but he sounds like a black person. Don't mean to be racist or anything like that.)

He is voiced by Joe Dimaggio who has a deep voice but the guy aint black, he plays Sandman as well.

Er what? He sounds like a ruff and gruff 20's gangster.
