I've been a huge Deadpool fan for over a decade, but this game has a lot to prove before I sign on. High Moon's Transformers games are good, but essentially very generic shooters, enhanced by their licensed.
That's not going to cut it with Deadpool - you can't simply place a mediocre shooter in there, make a few dick jokes and a few OTT QTEs and call it a winner. There needs to be genuine innovation and invention to the gameplay that's putting a smile on your face every five minutes, not just NeverDead 2. And with the awfulness that is Daniel Way involved in writing the project... that's not a good sign.
