Actors who are worse than Keanu Reeves

to get facts straight bale didn't start to have fanboys until he started shooting batman begins.

Eh, I actually think American Psycho was the beginning of the Bale/fanboy love fest.

Someone here called Christian Bale an "overrated pretty boy"?

Ok, I'm leaving this forum forever.

This "No taste in acting whatsoever, also, worst opinion ever" thing has to be contagious, even through the Internet, bye!

Oh boo hoo.

Nothing wrong with having an opinion. It's just the whole, "He's overrated" or "this is overrated" aspect is not only old, but definitely not original anymore.

It seems any movie that's great or any actor that is great or dedicated is clearly "overrated".

anyway who brings up Vin Diesel as worst actor, is severly misguided and probably base that opinion on the choice of movies, rather than his ability as an actor. Given xXx and Fast & Furious were not the best movies to showcase his talents, but they're quality in film making did not require it, whereas films such as Boiler Room, Saving Private Ryan, Find Me Guilty and even to an extent A Man Apart do and he performed exceptionally on each one. Plus considering Spielberg gave him the role in SPR for his acting in a short film shown at cannes, he can't be too bad.

Your face is overrated!

Oh wait...

The guy who plays Dante in Clerks.

Out of his league in Clerks 2. Watching Rosario Dawson, Jason Mewes, and even the guy who plays Elias act circles around him, it was quickly obvious why he had never done much with his film career after Clerks 1.

thats quite ironic considering out of dante (brian o'hallaran) and randall (jeff anderson) brian was the actual actor.

Agreed seeing as he said Mewes was acting circles around him, he was just playing himself! how hard could that be...

Christian Bale is a great actor... even if you don't particularly like him, I can't understand calling him the worst ever...

The same goes with Adam Sandler. While I wouldn't put him in the same league as Bale, he has done some really good dramatic work (Punch Drunk Love) and I think if he would just start picking better movies, he'd gain a lot more respect.

Hey, there's another actor who is VERY limited... Arnold Schwarzeneggar!!! The only role he can play well is an emotionless robot. Still, my girl argued that his film "Eraser" was better than the movie "Speed."

Can someone explain that one to me? I could understand thinking Reeves was a bad actor, but as action movies go, I personally felt "Speed" was a pretty good film. The action sequences were intense, the characters were written well, and the audience was kept on the edge of their seats the entire time. "Eraser," on the other hand, was just another stupid "Arnold is an unstoppable hero" movie with a tired, "witness needs protected from bad guys" plot. It's no wonder his career as an action hero began a downhill slope with that movie.

we're talking about their abilities as an actor not the conventional plots they are in.

Well Reeves unlike Arnold moved into serious movies where no action was involved.

Reeves was great in The Gift, Hardball, Sweet November, and The Devil's Advocate. Schwarzenegger, while he puts on a great performance for T2, Twins, and End of Days, he never really moved into a direction to where people could take him seriously for his acting talents.

Dude... I know that. It was just a sidenote.

He was really good in The Gift and The Devil's Advocate. I don't agree with you about Hardball or Sweet November, but I'll at least give Reeves credit for trying something different. Schwarzeneggar proves time and time again whenever he is in a movie that he has almost NO range whatsoever. Even the majority of comedic films he's done were somewhat action-oriented. The only one that wasn't that I can think of was "Junior," and well... we all know how that turned out.

If you agree with anything aliasman says, you pretty much have Down Syndrome. It's like a rule.

You have no taste in terms of great actors do you? Christian Bale is one of the greatest most dedicated actors in cinema.

I take it you've never seen Empire of the Sun, Newsies, The Machinist, American Psycho, Equilibrium, and of course, Batman Begins.

And Adam Sandler? Give me a break. Punch Drunk Love and Click are his greatest performances. Especially Click, which is the main movie that proves he can act. His performance had me moved to tears quite a bit.

The rest I agree with, but for you to say Bale and Sandler? You're definitely one who doesn't know acting or great film material.

the guy just has an intense hatred against BB and singles out Christian Bale just because he was in BB...:down

the underrated gem "Spanglish" shows how talented Adam Sandler is..it's just too bad that he does more of the trademark Sandler films instead of movies like "Spanglish" and "Punch Drunk Love"

Keanu Reeves isnt a great actor, maybe not a good one, but a decent actors at times. He is good doing the heroe in some action movies like the matrix saga or constantine. He is also good in some independient movies. He isnt that bad.

Hayden Christensen Obvi
