Two Face said:Well doesn't matter but the Mad Hatter I read in comics I can't see tall actor playing him. Would you cast short guy to play Harvey Dent? I don't think so.
ANTHONYNASTI said:Does The Mad Hatter's height really matter? Yeah, I know in the comics he is very short, but really, I don't think it matters as much as it does, say, to The Penguin.
That being said, I can't see Brody in the role. My choice for the part would be Brad Dourif.
His roles include Grima Wormtongue in the last two LOTR movies and Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and he also did the voice of Chucky in the Child's Play series. He excels at playing creepy and eccentric characters such as The Mad Hatter, and I feel he'd be perfect for the part.

Matis17 said:I think Paul Giamatti could make a really cool Hatter. He has the right look, he's super talented, plus (kind of like with Ledger) we've never seen him in a part like this, so it would be interesting.

My top two picks! My vision of the Mad Hatter is that of someone a little older, pudgy and with an inviting,father-like persona on the surface but with a disturbed darkly obsessed side within. The more he realises what he is doing is wrong, the more emerced in the Alice in Wonderland character he becomes.mister Lennon said:Robin Williams is perfect for the mad hatter. Tony Hopkins would be good too.

Bullseye said:I had an actor in mind for the role of The Mad Hatter, but I forgot who it was.
Intersting idea of Martin Short being The Mad Hatter, but I don't quite see a dark twisted humor side of Short.
