Absolutely brilliant, Top 3 WA for me, behind 'Budapest' and 'Tenenbaums'
As someone who personally struggles a lot with worrying that I'm not "making the right choice" at the loss of making definitive choices, the themes really hit hard for me. This is definitely one of Anderson's most thematically rich pieces, and while I was initially skeptical of the meta approach to the narrative, it really paid off in the end.
Visually gorgeous, narratively fascinating, with incredible performances across the board, including some newcomers who fit the W.A. style like a glove (Hanks, Schreiber, Johannson, Carrell) - Everything you could want from Wes, with an extra dose of career introspection to boost. Possibly my favorite of the year so far.
