Is there a point where as an adult you should stop having a book bag?

i think its ok if you have a kid or are backpacking (of course)

Only if it has an X-Men decal. :)

They're very useful. :o

I have one too, I carry one when I have to buy something. But for some reason it's considered "childish" by some.

And I mean a regular one, not one that has something "kiddish" on it.

No, but there is a point at which an adult should stop needing to ask strangers if what they're wearing/doing is okay.

I prefer to carry my laptop around in my laptop backpack as opposed to a shoulder bag. More comfortable for me and I can still call myself a "backpacker" (only hip hop heads will get that).

Anyone that thinks that can suck my left ____.

People have been using back packs before books came along.

I have a backpack that use from time to time. What's the big deal?

I have a backpack which I bring to work, I have my lunch in there and other things I might need for the day.

Don't worry, I circulate through all my avatars, Max Headroom will return.

If you're over 21 and are carrying a bag with an Invader Zim patch on it...yeah, it's time to put that **** away.

I need to get an "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters" patch for mine. I wish somebody would say something to me about it :o

My backpack has a million pockets.

I found a really, really, reaaally old condom in one of them the other day.

I don't even remember putting it there.

:csad:

Invader Zim rules, but I just stick to the DVDs for that.

Regarding backpacks, I also use mine for work. I have my folder with various work-related things in it (since I don't trust any of co-workers), extra pens for the same reason, a daily bag of peanuts to ward off my boss when she makes her rounds since she's allergic to them, a bag of candy to munch on during the day, and a book to read during my lunch break.

Now carrying a lunchbox, that's another thing. Save that **** for grade schoolers

I carry a messenger bag sometimes. I feel they look less silly then a full on backpack.

Expect when the backpack in question was your old man's rucksack when he was in the Marines :woot:
