Confidence is key. Try to sound as knowledgeable as possible while at the same time being non-chalant is also key. Always tell them you DON'T make commission, tell them your their to help them.

In some cases, you should tell them you work on commission, otherwise they won't ask for you when they come back. Happens all the time.
