The Avengers After credit scene?

I imagine Thor doing this. "This meat is good." *throws it on the ground* "Another!"

I imagined this already, too. The problem is, why should he throw the stuff to the ground, when he loves it?

And the waitress is done cleaning up, and then Thor makes this mess. LMAO.

My friend just told me there was actually a 3rd post credit scene. After the 2nd one and ends and just before the ushers are about done cleaning up the theater it starts.

Yeah, but the problem is it only plays in latveria.

Wondering if I'm the only one who thinks the shawarma scene wouldbhave been even funnier if Tony had still been wearing his armor and Banner had still been the Hulk? I just envision Hulk, sitting on the floor, or like 3 chairs, eating 5-6 sandwiches.
Guess so. Oh, well.

The idea of Thor eating a kebab is just so surreal. And awesome.

And... THANOS!!!! **** yea.

The Swarmah scene was so well done, my sister was laughing so hard. I knew of the scene before hand, but, no one told me Captain America and Thor were still in their outfits! That was the best part. It looked like they went to that diner like 5 minutes after the battle.

In the first post-credits scene, there was a close up of a hand pressing down on what I'm assuming is the arm of a chair, followed by Thanos standing up.

Was that Thanos' hand? And if so, why did it look grey/flesh tone as opposed to purple?

The last scene was a little anti-climatic. They did such a good job with having humor throughout the movie I was expecting Tony Stark to make some kind of witty comment. Which would have sealed the epicness of this movie. Still hard to deny how awesome the avengers was. :yay:

Well Thanos does have humanoid hands, just bigger. But i suspect he'll be a bit lankier and less beefy in the movies.

And i think it was just the lighting on his hand. It did seem like a really pale blue.

Maybe he had gloves?

Actually, I really appreciated that no one spoke. It really seemed like they were all so exhausted and hungry after the massive battle that all they wanted to do was eat. Even Stark kept quiet cause he was so concerned with stuffing his face!

Though it probably would have cost more, keeping Banner in Hulk form while eating would have been hilarity. Maybe Tony tries to reach for something and he thinks he's trying to take his food and snarls.

I think the fact that they were all sitting there in silence makes it all the more hilarious. Here they are, a bunch of superheroes who just fought in this massive battle, silently chowing down on some kebabs. It's just so surreal.

I totally disagree with Terry re: Hulk being at the table. What I love about the scene is that it completely ignores the superhero nature of the team. Yeah, they're all freaks, but in that moment they're just being normal together.

I just love all the variations in spellings of shawarma that have been posted haha

It was a very funny scene that has no dialogue but it shows the team together enjoying a meal as a family.

Might not be a final design on Thanos. They could always tweak it for the next movie.

Gollum's design from Fellowship was tweaked to what he finally became in Two Towers.

I think it was more a question of time - since this was shot on April 12 and it had to be converted to 3D there really was not time for any other fx work. Plus, the entire point was having the cast together one last time...

Thanos may change a little for the next one as they will probably cast an actor of note and redo the make-up for him, but the basic idea will most likely stay the same. Nice to see prosthetics still being used, this like Hellboy and the Thing show that CGI is not all ways the way to go!

It didn't look like it to me.
It was the other alien kneeling before him as he stood up.

So far I've seen the movie twice and nobody had a clue who it was in the end credits scene. I was like "AW YEA THANOS" and people were like "lol who's that red guy".
