Rank the scenes as well if you can

1. Captain America (Not counting the trailer for the Avengers the scene was still awesome. Something about Nicky Fury saying "saving the world" and Cap looking at him. Just awesome

2. Iron Man 2 (Thor's hammer blew my mind away. And I love how that scene is used for the Thor movie)

3. Iron Man (Where it all started)

4. Thor (I didn't care to much about this scene but seeing Loki at the end made it worth while)

5. The Incredible Hulk (Kind of bland to me, Tony Stark showing up speaking to the General about Hulk)

I went with Cap. Whether you count the Avengers trailer or not, Cap knocking that punching bag off the chain was just awesome.

lol...no one is gonna read the first post and then just chose Cap end credits

This is kind of unfair with Cap having an actual teaser trailer at the end. I mean every other end credits thing was just a small easter egg scene. So I'm gonna have to go with either Iron Man or The Incredible Hulk.

Because the way I look at it if we had no idea that there were end credits scene after any of these movies, those two would be the most exciting. I'm choosing Iron Man because that started it all, and everybody went apes**t at the possibility of an Avengers movie.

I voted TIH because that's actually when we see a character from another movie(stark) in another major movie(hulk).

The biggest mind-blowing scene for me was the first. Sam Jackson saying "the avengers initiative" just was too good to be true :D

Every other post-credits-scene after that one didnt have that surprise momentum-feeling like that first one had.

same here, you already expected something at the end of the other movies
the first one was the best, it came as a surprise

It's a tie between IM and TIH. But I think TIH had a little more emotional impact. All the other scenes were a little bland.

The Avengers should have an after credits scene like "There's something about Mary" where all the cast including Joss sings "Build me up Buttercup".

I hope Avengers doesn't have a post credits scenne, it was like the end of phase I, then the next movies will have one post credits scenne again.

I think even though technically not an after credits scene, the best scene was certainly from The Incredible Hulk because where all the other films have teased another upcoming film The Incredible Hulk's scene teased a lot more with a load more references.

I remember sitting in the cinema and smiling with glee as Tony and Ross were saying lines such as...

'that Super-Soldier project WAS put on ice for a reason.' -TS
'I've always felt that hardware was much more reliable.' -TS
'You always wear such nice suits. ' -TR
'What if I told you we were putting a team together? ' -TS

or a blooper reel! with people messing up lines! :D

Even though Caps included the Avengers Teaser Trailer...i go with Iron Man 1.

Because it started it all and there is no describing the feeling of excitement i got in my body to hear Sam Jackson say "The Avengers Initiative" as Nick Fury to Tony stark.

I was blown away and from that sentence a lone started a cavalcade of awesomeness from Marvel pictures and their now basically trademark post-credit sequences.

That's a really good point actually. By the time Thor and Cap came around, we all knew that the post credits scene was going to be something Avengers-related. But with Iron Man, I had no idea. I just knew there was some sort of post-credits scene and that was it. Then when Fury mentions the "Avenger Initiative" I was like, "WHOA, seriously?!"

I voted for Cap's, but acknowledge that it giving us a glimpse of EVERYbody in Avengers gives it an unfair advantage over the others, which just teased one or two little things.

Had I not voted for that, it would have been IM2.

Just personally... I think I might have been spoiled for the Fury appearance at the end of IM, and at the time, my reaction was along the lines of, "Oh, COOL!"

But I was completely unspoiled for what was going to be at the end of IM2, and when Mjolnir came on screen... I let out an involuntary, supersonic squeal that got a laugh out of the rest of the theater. (And I wasn't even a big Avengers or Thor fan at the time. But that was the moment, for me, of "oh my god, this is really REAL, they're really doing it".)

I just remember before that was even released they showed Downey Jr. on the set of the HUlk.....

that alone made me think something was finally going to happen.

This is my order;

Iron Man - Just Nick Fury telling Tony about other superheroes and the Avengers Initiative was incredible

Incredible Hulk - This is what told you the shared universe was really happening and that the characters could crossover and interact with each other was so cool

Thor - Seeing a teaser for the plot of Avengers was great

Captain America - The teaser was cool, but didn't really reveal anything we didn't already know

Iron Man 2 - This would've been a lot better if it wasn't well known that Thor was already in production

Without a doubt, it was The Incredible Hulk, by far.

As far as I know, for the first time in cinematic history, you have the main character from a major film appearing in another major character's film! Paramount's Iron Man walks into Universal's Incredible Hulk! (Both Marvel, of course.)

It was truly a "Holy crap!" moment.
Sure, seeing Nick Fury in Iron Man was cool...but it was just a, "Hey, cool...Samuel L. Jackson was cast for this movie."

But in TIH, you see Tony Stark, just one month after his cinematic debut, in another movie, walking into a bar, in full character, talking to the guy that spent the entire movie trying to take down the Hulk!

It was a genuine "Marvel Moment", where one character nonchalantly appears in another character's book. It's what made (and established) Marvel as feeling so cohesive as a universe (and a company) to its readers. Seeing "Stark Industries" on the military equipment that was blasting the Hulk was just the appetizer to the cherry on the cake of seeing Stark walk on-screen at the end.

To the general audience, Nick Fury appearing in Iron Man was just a, "So what? Who's that guy?"
But even people that had never read a comic in their life was like, "Holy crap, that's Iron Man!" at the end of The Incredible Hulk.

And it wasn't just a tease...it all has (and will) come to fruition. And it made the comic book loving audience think, "Wow...this is really going to happen...this is only the beginning...and we're going to get so much more of this really cool stuff!"

Thats not really true.

Michael Keaton did it with Jackie Brown (Miramax) and Out of Sight (Universal)

That's why I said, "As far as I know".
Michael Keaton was the main character in "Jackie Brown"?
Thanks for the info.

also there is a clear connection between Resevoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

Victor Vega

Vince Vega

Marsden and Travolta are brothers

and if ya listen carefully.....Mr. Marcelass Wallace is mentioned by name in resevoir dogs played by Ving Rahmes in pulp fiction

I dont think he meant the idea of characters being talked about in different films, more so that an actor appeared in two different films by two different stuidos as the same character.
