After Credits Scene

How about in the 4th one if they have Lizard, Cassidy (not in carnage form, just a killer) and maybe Venom. Then at the very end of the film just before credits, we see Cassidy being put in a prison, and then a guard mutters that it's the same prison cell Brock used to be in.
Then we get a shot of Cassidy looking down on the floor at black gloop! Then credits, yeah!

^Keep Carnage out of the movies, period. Wouldn't go well at all

Xavier should pop up and say "look at my wig". :)

it would be better if out of the water you see a human arm climb out of the water and we see bruce campbell come out of the lake

Not going to happen... there are two many other Spider-Man villains that deserve their own movies... Doc Ock died... Get over it... Spider-Man 4 (if they DO make one) will most likely feature the Lizard... Honestly, I think you could put the Lizard, Rhino, and Kraven all in one movie (they all are Animal-themed...) and you could have Peter (or Conners) try to cure him... and have it go out of control... leading to 6-armed Spidey and eventually Man-Spider... Imagine a Man-Spider fighting Kraven... (similar to the 90's cartoon)... Anyway... point is... Doctor Octopus is dead...

no, no, no, kraven has to be in a movie with chameleon (they're related), not rhino and lizard.

Just hear me out, please. Wouldn't it be cool if they showed whatever end that they choose for Spider-Man 3 (probobly a Spidey swinging through city sequence). Then they show the credits, then after the credits suddenly the poof up the scene at the end of Spider-Man 2, with Doc Ock floating in the water, away into darkness. (but instead of it just ending with that, have an extended CG sequence, where it actually continues). Suddenly the red lights of the tenticals pop back on, and suddenly underwater Ock's arms begin to swing and jolt around fiercly. Then we see a mechanical arm come out of the water and grab onto the edge of the peir.

BLACK SCREEN

THE END

Wouldn't that be cool? It's sort of like what they did with POTC 2 and have that crazy sequence with that dog on the tribal throne.
No thats not cool at all. SMells like a lump of Guda. Thats Cheese.

agreed, let there be a cliffhanger in spidey4 about dock ock and maybe it would show how ock got out of the water.

Give me a break man, that would probably take place 1 or 2 years after the third one. Give it up on Ock coming out of the water people!

If he makes a comeback it will either show him in prison or just showing up period. His comeback will be a WTF?? Captain Barbossa style.

that would be weird though. it would make more sense for it to show the night that ock supposedly drowned (hich he didn't) and once it becomes silent where ock drowned...he rises out of the water. that would be a very good and breathtaking cliffhanger if you ask me.

With Sam Raimi at the helm, the classic villains will always come first. Always. Why else do you think Sandman is being focused on more than Brock in SM-3?? Even Harry is getting more exposure than Brock.

Btw, I'd watch the "gay" talk if I were you. They don't take kindly to that kind of talk around here.

Yah...but if Avi Arad, the main boss wanted Raimi to add Venom, he should've also realized that fans would want Venom to be in the movie more than just ten minutes...or at least keep Eddie alive...and would the word homosexual be better? It still means gay...gay could also mean happy though...would you want me to say happy?

No. It wouldn't. It would NOT make sense to suddenly use a scene from a two year old movie , after TWO YEARS have passed IN THE CINEMATIC CONTINUITY . It would not be breathtaking and it would not be a cliffhanger.

Doctor Octopus when we last left him gained his "mind" and him rising nefariously out of the water (two years later..flash back or not it just would not fit and be very out of place) would really not make much of an impact, considering he feels he is a "Good Guy".

Ock bursting through a wall with a brand new agenda and a "Sorry Spider-Man...but I will not Let ANYONE stand in my way....Not from THIS dream will I be barred!" will have a heavier effect than a simple "flashback" to an old scene and him rising from the water just cus it'd "look" cool.

GTFOH. :cmad:

Man, going back in time for something like that would be pointless. Show Eddie walking to his cell, or Sandy, whatever. Give him a cell next to Ock, not Cassidy, cuz the Symbiote buffs will be expecting Cletus. You don't even need him to say anything. Then if he comes back for the 4th movie he can give some kind of summary as to what happened.

Using the word "Gay" in a derogatory manner is just as bad as calling me a Ni**er.

Do it again and expect to lose your account.

I understand where everyone is coming from, but it would be cool if the actual ending was Eddie living, (going to jail, hiding, etc) But after the credits it goes to the pier, and says "TWO YEARS AGO", or re-show the ending of SP2 and then have Doc Ock coming out of the water. But I'd like it more if his tentacle lights came back of and they started to save him.

wouldn't you rather see ock come out of the water than there being a summary of what happened? what i would like to see is have ocks lights on the tentacles come back on and then we see ock slowly rise out of the water with the tentacles holding him up.

Two things:

1. Arad said the fans want to SEE Venom in the next movie. You're seeing him. Mission accomplished. Raimi probably feels he's done his duty regarding Venom.

2. Arad is no longer the boss now. So he has no say over future Spidey movies.

...and would the word homosexual be better? It still means gay...gay could also mean happy though...would you want me to say happy?

How about you don't use the word homosexuality or gay at all, since it has absolutely no relevance to this topic. You have no valid reason to bring it into this thread.

If they were going to do that then they should've made that bonus cut scene at the end of SM2 instead.

Calm down, idiot!

You think YOU have the authority to tell Sam whether or not to use a flashback? they do flashbacks ALL THE TIME in films... or have you just been sitting under a rock with only 2 DVDs (SM1 and 2) you're whole life?

GET A LIFE!!!

no offense, but that would't really be shocking... to have it way in the way future rip out old memories, change them and put them back in, in a way that no fan could deny it to not be cool! :oldrazz:

Ock just coming out of the water would confuse the hell out of people (the non fanboys)

When Barbossa showed up at the end of DMC, people didn't have time to be confused, all they could say was WTF? If Ock shows up in a jail cell or some similar way, that would have the same effect. The same effect that Norman's arrival in SM2 had.

that wouldn't be right though because we already know who the villians are in spidey3 so what would the point be of releasing the extra clip of ock coming out of the water?:yay:

I've never heard ANYONE complain about Barbossa showing up, or Norman's cameo in SM-2. These were cool things to see. Nobody complains when they see a great villain re-appear.

They may have been confused, but they were not complaining.

^Spideyhero12, That would make about as much sense as bringing Ock out of the water months after he fell into it.

I wasn't complaining, you misunderstood my meaning. When Barbossa and Norman showed up it was awesome. Ock needs to come back in the same wtf way. Just having him walk out of the water wouldn't have the same effect.

Exactly. No one complained about Barbosa...they were just like WTF!? I have to wait until next year to find out why he is alive and how. Norman showing up in SM2 was totally different. Norman was there in Harry's mind, not back from the dead. Norman is now just a part of Harry, not himself in body and spirit once again like Barbosa or Doc Ock coming out of the water. Two totally different situations.
