Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - 4x11 - "Wake Up" - Discussion Thread

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to who the 'leader' is? Hopefully not another tie back to Hydra, revitalizing them again. That story is played out.

presumed it was Felix blake but dragging on with no acknowledgement of that. maybe something to lead into that inhuman show, some royal inhuman.

They call him "The Superior" and he's played by Zach McGowan.

A great episode.
Nice twist with the dream, and Radcliffe's lmd.
So there's still another lmd? Mack?

I originally assume it was Felix Blake since he founded the Watchdogs last season and would know shield protocol. Though if it was, there'd be no need to keep it secret. Also since you use the word "leader" I immediately thought of Samuel Sterns aka The Leader from The Incredible Hulk. Wouldn't make sense for him to be the Watchdog's leader, but I always thought he could make a perfect antagonist for AoS

So...the name of the actor playing the Superior has already been announced?

Hmm...my first thought was that it was Ian Quinn...so they could work Graviton back into play. Guess not.

In the comics there are two characters named The Superior. One is apparently supposedly The Leader's son...weird shaped head...telekinetic powers. The other is just some dude who runs a throwaway intelligence agency.

Interesting episode! Still wondering if the Mat LMD will switch sides so to speak at some point

I have to agree with ChicagoDave about how great the show is.

With what they have done to May now I know a few people looking forward to the fight when she finally gets out. Talk about messing with her head, it will screw her up for some time. Then I had a thought. What if the real May dies and the LMD lives at the end of all this and ends up joining the team?

Yes, it's Zach McGowan from Black Sails. But it could just be more misdirection.

I finally got around to this. Good episode, I liked the twists.

I'm starting to get annoyed that FitzSimmons hasn't had a lying naked in bed scene when Yoyo and Mack get one. :funny:
