Ultimately, the exposed future could not be stopped-- in the end, Claire exposed them to the world. This is where I would see the characters in this exposed future.
Claire: Captured by the government and experimented on. Fate unknown.
Peter: He learns how to control his power and is able to permanently take a posthuman's ability like his father before him. His face is scared by a new villain.
Tracy: Enters into a relationship with Peter.
Hiro: He has his sword and is somewhere between the childish Hiro and the alternate future terrorist Hiro from season 1.
Ando: On the run with Hiro, Peter, Tracy, and Sylar.
Sylar: Still has his hunger under control for the simple fact that there is noone more powerful than him, yet.
The president declares martial law; Congress is dismissed; and posthumans are being rounded up and placed on red and yellow lists. The red list is executed. The American population is forced to give DNA samples everywhere they go.
In this exposed future, extremely powerful characters are drawn out.
The first half of the season is focused upon fighting a sort of league of powerful villains that have taken the view of Hitler on humanity. Peter, Tracy, Hiro, Ando, and Sylar would fight these characters in the build up to Uluru (who is unseen for the first half of the season, like Sylar or Linderman in season 1).
The Steel Woman: Powers: Magnetism, steel skeleton, steel skin (metal mimicry), and flight (due to magnetism). Sylar would fight this character but find her difficult to kill. Sylar desires to be indestructible and pulls the villain's brains out through her nose.
The Burning Man: Original Power: Tissue regeneration. Synthetic Power: Pyrokinesis, full body fire manifestation, explosive flight. Peter faces him along with Tracy Strauss and he takes the Burning Man's powers away-- the villain instantly ages into his 90s.
Eclipse: Power: Light manipulation, invisibility, ability to absorb all light (total blackness), ability to generate light (flash grenade style), ability to become protons (thus able to travel at the speed of light), holographic abilities, and ability to focus protons to fire lasers from her fingers.
Uluru would have the power of manifestation of stone/crystalline body, pyrokinesis, and super human strength. The makeup/prosthetics would have to be similar to Hellboy. Uluru would work alone.
