AI in the Entertainment Industry

As usual of course, anything a CEO says is nonsense so its whatever to begin with...especially if these people talk about AI.

You can make todays movies easily 50% better and still 50% cheaper.
Like, 320 Million for Electric State? You could have done that movie for probably 100 Million and it would have felt less fake.

Cool, that's the worst thing I've seen today.

Sadly there may be no way to stop this, especially if audiences line up to see 100% AI movies.

If studios find they can make money using completely computer generated movies, without actors or real creative types involved, they'll do it.

At some point in the future studios might simply churn out 100% AI movies without any actors, writers, directors, or anybody else involved apart from computer programmers.

But that’s the thing. There’s no evidence that audiences will actually turn out and pay money to see feature length versions of these things. Or have any interest.

Watching a free 2 minute video is very different.

Imagine paying for something no one bothered to actually make.

i thought AI was suppossed to be set up to help us have time away from mundane tasks so can pursue our creative expression?

now AI is taking our creative expression and leaving us time to do mundane tasks
