(not sure if he's talking about Michael Bay or himself).

I like Shia but wow, that seemed more like incoherent babbling more than anything. The guy is naturally Louis Stevens x10 with a love for the swear words. I'm still looking forward to the film though

I read the interview, It was great, I like what was said about Megatron, At least his alt mode isnt an Alien Jet from that leaked image we seen resently, But some new kind of miltary jet.

Shia was talking about Bay's comments on Superman and Batman mostly.

so it WAS BAY's opinion from Shia's mouth. If that's the case, then I'm right with some people here over-exgerating it.

It sounded more like he was saying bay didn't like batman and superman. Bay then was talking s*** about the idea of someone in tights and tranformers being more tangible but I don't know how much is bay and how much is shia. I could see Shia totally just jumping on bay's d*** and agreeing with everything he says.

I need to read it still to judge it. However, Bay has been like that from the start. Very egotistical. In an interview a while back, he bashed Eternal Sunshine. I loved the movie personally, but he bashed it for not being a bigger sucess at the box office. The thing is that movie wasn't made to be a blockbuster hit. It's an indie film.

Bay thinks big and thinks of himself big. That's how he is..

It can be pretty real to people if you have day to day objects really being robots in disguise. It could feel more real to audiences than the concept of a man dressed in a costume doing fantastical feats. Doesn't mean the potential(!) more realism is inherently better though.
Since it comes down to characters, and stories. And Batman has Transformers beaten in that regard.

Ehh, I'm not really looking forward to this movie now. I just feel Bay and Murphy have pissed on my childhood by taking the direction they're taking.

Hey Bay and Murphy, do you know what makes the Transformers really cool? The fact that EVERY show focused on the robots, the fact that you cared about them as characters without the human story.

Maybe you should use Transformers:The Movie has a blueprint? Very little human interaction and a lot of emotional conflicts with the robots themselves.
