AIM Away Messages

Some people like everyone to what they are doing. I just give mini updates

I agree with Spoons. When I used AIM, my "aways" were, usually, to the point.

Shower
Work
School
****ing

"is away, so don't bother.."

Simple as that.. :p

I'm guessing you just listed those by how often you used them.

so spoons, can you pick up that house yet? :p

No, not for a while unfortunately. Losing weight = losing strength :(

Come September though....:cmad:

I just signed on to my aim for like the first time in 6 or 7 months.

I just uninstalled it. I mean, I never used it since my junior year of high school.

indeed. it's very creepy when someone you don't know calls your phone, even creepier if they explain who they are and claim you gave them your number when you have no recollection of that. Def not a way to score a date

It's actually worked for me.... twice ;)

I saw a girl posted her number on her AIM away message.... called her.... and we ended up hanging out eventually.

I've posted my cell number on my away before, but I have my account set up so that you can only see me if you're on my friend list, and if you're on my friend list, you most likely have the number anyway.

Not that I use my AIM much anymore, but I have used a few different messages.

" I am having sex with my beautiful wife. I'll be back in an hour or so. "
" I am at work, because the bills don't pay themselves. "
" Cleaning the house. Yes I do run a sweeper every now and then. "
" I may or may not be here. I am ignoring a few people. Leave a message and find out if you are one of them. "

It's funnier if you replace "my" with "your".
