Damn straight.
They nailed the Surfer perfectly.
They nailed the Surfer perfectly.
With Proyas as director, shooting off a JMS script using those amazing SS effects utilised in FF2 (best thing in the movie) - this movie has the potential to be epic.
Let's hope that Fox share that belief.
Here it is...^Link wont work, what did he say?

I, Robot director Alex Proyas has denied rumors that he is attached to a big screen adaptation of The Silver Surfer.
Unfortunately that is just a rumor. I dont know where that came from, Proyas told the crowd at Comic Con. I do like Silver Surfer, but Im not going to be doing it.
Alex Proyas Explains Chilly Fox Relationship Means Hell Never Direct Silver Surfer Movie

'Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer'While at Comic-Con last month, acclaimed director Alex Proyas blew the lid off rumors that he was going to be directing a Silver Surfer spin-off, claiming the news of his involvement was nothing more than idle internet chatter.
There may be more to it than that, he told MTV News. Although he wouldnt go so far as to say there was ever an official offer, why would he never even consider a Silver Surfer movie?
Because its a Fox picture, the Dark City helmer said. And Im determined never to work with them ever again because of my experience on I,Robot.
Thats bad news for fans of the first family of crimefighting and their various spin-off characters (like Surfer) since, as Chris Evans told MTV first last March, a Fantastic Four 3 is probably never going to happen.
Of course, nobody really liked Fantastic Four 2, especially the subplot with the Surfer, Proyas argued.
Its like the origin of Silver Surfer was in that movie, and Im going, This is such a fking great story, why throw it away? Proyas wondered. I think they messed it up.
So with Surfer out of the way (and, for that matter, the F4 or the X-Men, both Fox properties) is there a comic book hero or villain Proyas would like to adapt?
You know, there arent that many left, he sighed. Silver Surfer would have been something I would have loved to have done. Hes one of the last cool ones left, really. (Hear about one property Proyas is adapting Dracula on the MTV Movies Blog).
But yeah, he added. If you have any thoughts, give me a call.
WB needs to get Proyas on GL. Pronto.
