Avi Arad Updates Marvel Slate

Agreed! Plus they can get that guy from Ong-Bak to play Shang. That'd make the action sequences even better.

I would go with Stephen Chow, from the bad-ass 2004 flick kungfu hustle. By the way, they are making a Kungfu hustle 2 that should be out in 2008.

Tony Jaa?? Really?? I mean, sure he kicks ass...but lets face it, his acting is poop.

I don't think so. I think his acting was great in Ong-Bak, I just don't know if he speaks english though, does he?

It's not like the characters in a film like Shang-Chin are Ivy League Scholars...or were they. LOL To me a Shang-Chi film should be feel like a foregin film with subtitles and everything. Like Crouching Tiger, Hero, etc...

I hope it's a cross between those films. ^

Marvel previously announced that they plan to release two self made movies per year starting in 2008. So, you'll have to change your 2009 projections. I'm betting it'll be Cap & Nick Fury in 2009. The Wolverine/Fox solo film will probably slip to 2009 and that will be just fine for Marvel.

I think that`s overkill, too much of a good thing can be bad.Ghost Rider is a good example,i would rather take a good film every few years. The a bad one every year,i wonder when Marvel will stop making films....

Does anyone even see a Hawkeye film even happening?

This is good news, but I wish they could put the time and effort into making a strong Thor film. I really believe it could have a very epic appeal, and definitely be intense and action oriented.
