Can anyone help me out finding them?

Did you try google??

I did but I could only find some of them.

He's one hell of an artist. I wonder if he'll be back for Spider-man 3?

I doubt it,He thought Spider-Man 2 was stupid.That's ok, I hate his art anyway.

I agree with his assessment of spidey 2 and still hope he returns since his opening credits for it is one of it's highlights for me.

He told me that was unlikely. Besides, I don't think any studio would ask someone who'd been so openly critical of their previous project to get involved with another one.

Alex Ross is a hack who lacks imagination.

He's also a nut.

I wouldn't go that far.
However, he has been coming off more & more egocentric lately. My real problem w/his remarks about Spider-Man & Star Wars was that he stated his opinions as FACT.
A little off-topic, But My wife had some interesting remarks about Alex.
See, the way she sees it, comic books are supposed to be all about fantasy. People who don't exist doing the impossible. Alex's art tries to bring superheroes down to our level, making them look like somebody who could perceivably walk into your living room. This destroys the fantasy & takes the fun out of it.

That's an interesting point right there.

What did he actually say?
On Sm-1: (This was what he actually said to me, at a con) "I'm not a huge fan of the film. I liked the cast, but I didn't like the script or the direction."
"The raised webs look overthought. I don't know why they couldn't have just gone with a simple costume."
"I thought the Green Goblin design was cool, but I would rather see more of Dafoe's face."
In light of those remarks I was surprised that he took the gig for :spidey: 2.
On SM-2: (paraphrasing from a Wizard article) "That movie was just stupid. The dialogue was stupid. Everybody keeps saying it's the best superhero movie ever; they won't be saying that 3 years from now."

Wow, I definitely agree with your wife's comments. He seemed to want to tone it down a lot. That would have gone down like a tonne of bricks.

Look at his paintings of the movie characters; he simply refused to put Spidey in his movie costume. It's all about how HE feels the character should look. No big eyes on Spidey, no lenses on Batman. Damn the fantasy aspect altogether.

I like his costume more than the movie costume except for the eye lenses. His just looks more like something a poor guy like peter could actually make on his own.

I hated the symbol. And the web-shooters were too remniscent of Nick Hammond.

Meh. An egomaniac. Great drawings in the second film but obviously done for the paycehck and recognition. The idea will be bac, buth e won't.

And frankly I find that his ideas for the Spider-Man movies are abysimal. His Spider-Man costume looks like a joke with the black and red and fewer web lines and he complains that the one Raimi went with was "overthought." And his Doc Ock idea looked disgusting and remincent of Ahnold in Batman & Robin.

A talented artist but I'm glad he has no hand in the creative process of the Spider-Man movies though. And for the record it is 2 years later (going on 3) and a lot of people are still saying SM2 is the best superhero movie ever made (though about half are now saying Batman Begins) and the only way to change that by next year would be for SM3 to supplant it though.

Those Ross pics are so great. I think the credits are my fave part of the movie.:)

I just like how he made Spidey look like Spidey from the book and didn't try to make him look like the movie.

Even though Ross' Spidey is alright, I don't think the costume design would fly in the live-action movie, maybe in a tv series =p
