I really liked what the third installment did to the title/credits opening of the movie. I thought it was better than the Alex Ross paintings seen in 2 but not better than the CGI that was done in 1. I am also glad they kept the Elfman theme intact for the most part...(No drums for "Marvel" intro though..:csad: :csad: ) So i just wanted to create this thread to see what other people thought. And is it better than the first or second one? or both?

I just love that they always use the credits as a "Previously on Spider-Man..." kind of thing.

Makes it feel like more of a series to see all that beautiful continuity.

I thought the opening credits on this movie were great. If they couldn't have gotten more cool paintings of the movie, the next best thing in my opinion is the movie, right? I was happy with the little video windows reshowing what happened in the first two films. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they cut the end of the opening credits music off. I didn't notice it at first, but I did think something was off when the actual movie started. Then I found a video of it on youtube. It's like the music just falls flat at the end.

Yeah they cut off the Power and Responsibility theme at the end of the Main Titles...and then never used it in the movie except once. Too bad, as it's really Peter's theme and Elfman used it to drive the story home wonderfully throughout 1 and 2. Young just didn't get it I guess.

All three have had great opening credits but there's just something really cool about the third one's opening credits.
