I enjoy AVPR for what it is. It's a stupid romp featuring both creatures. Like said above, at least there was decent Predator action.

I enjoyed it 10 times more than AVP.

In some ways, it's better. It is more true to the spirit of the series in its violence, however has a worse story than AvP. Neither movie do I feel was a worthy AvP film, though.

the problem with AVP is it took place in the modern day

it shouldve been space marines vs aliens vs predators, not aliens and predators raping normal humans

well, that wasnt the only problem. the stories were terrible, the acting was bad, and even the action was boring (atleast in AVPR. i couldnt make anything out in that one)

Nope. We should not have gotten a AvP light in the first film, and we should have got people who actually tried with the script for the second film.

The smile attempt was rightfully cut from the film IMO, as Cameron said, it's completely wrong for the tone of the scene.

I love the Reese dream sequence, and I as well hated the glitching t-1000, the little shiver that goes up his body in the foundry scene was enough to show that he was malfunctioning.

I just feel like the Reese Dream is redundant; the slow mo run ruins the scene when she sees Arny and John later on in the hospital, and we also see the nuke dream again later. its nice to see Beihn but overall its just corny fluff

 

[The Navigator]

Alien was the better film overall in terms of writing, art design and use of the frame, but Aliens has by far the better conclusion.
