Alien VS Predator!

I don't get why the "Well if the Predator didn't have any weapons" argument even comes up, its an asinine statement. The Predators would never be without weapons, NEVER. So if your going to strip all of its weapons for no reason then lets strip the alien of his tail, claws, mouth thing, and acid blood.

No. What is asinine is allowing the Predator every possible weapon he could possible have or carry, but then not letting him go against the baddest of the bad. The queen. In which case this isn't even a discussion as the queen would destroy the Predator, even with the shoulder gun as we've already seen in AVP.

So the point is stripped down, nothing but claws and teeth the alien wins. Easily. And allowed every advantage the alien still wins as long as the queen goes up against the Predator who's armed to the teeth.

Yeah....I'm not even counting the AvP films btw I'm looking at this if an AvP film was never made.

Why is that asinine? He always comes prepared with weapons as seen in the first two Predator movies. It seems like your trying to take away all his weaponry because you want the alien to win, I'm not looking at it like that. Both creatures are awesome but Predator just has the edge imo. Speed, agility, strength, stealth, intelligence and weaponry beats an Alien 1 on 1.

And yes you can argue that the Predator could beat the Queen. Ripley in a loading suit can beat the Queen but a Predator with advanced weaponry can't? Give me a break.

How? We've already seen it. Even with the help of a human, and the best hunter against a queen, the queen still killed the predator. And the only reason the queen died is because it had a chain stuck to it's neck AND the human helped. The queen would easily kill the Predator as it did in AVP. The only reason it didn't tear the Predator in half was because of the human.

The Queen is slow as hell as seen in Aliens. Predator could just sit back from a distance and hit it with plasma shots till it went down.

BTW, the wasn't the whole point of the Pyramid in AvP a rite of passage for Predators? So those guys were like, college kids taking their final.

Also, a weaponless Predator taking on an Alien is like... Bruce Wayne fighting a big, angry Chimp.

You can say that all day until you're blue in the face. It doesn't change the fact the Queen was shown to be fast in AvP, and killed a Predator even with disadvantages.

1 unarmed predator against 1 alien queen.....no competition, alien queen hands down. 1 moderately armed predator against 1 alien queen...depending on the environment, the predator will most likely have the advantage since he will probably use his plasma canon quite a bit. if the queen gets within several feet of the predator, however, he's toast.

You are forgetting how quick the queen can be. She'd get shot once by the plasma cannon and then she'd run right up to the Predator where ever he is and kill him in two seconds. What makes you think the queen would just sit there and let him shoot at her over and over? And that's still assumeing the queen doesn't see the Predator right off the bat considering we know Aliens can see a cloaked Predator even through walls.

the queen isn't all THAT quick. if the predator is a good 50 yards from the queen he'd be able to get at least 2 shots off and we know how accurate their cannons can be. if the queen gets hit once (she's a BIG target) then it'll at least stumble, and if it stumbles then there's more of a chance of it getting hit again.....and again.........and again. anyway, i even said that IF the queen can get within feet of the predator then it's toast...but if the predator can maintain it's distance from the queen and rain some shots with it's canon then the queen will fall.

Yeah, Kong is a bad ass. I don't think any monster could take him. Though if he kills the queen he'd probably get acid on himself and who knows how much damage that would cause.

I'll give you this, if it is a Predator vs an Alien in a big wide open space the Predator would win as long as it had his plasma cannon. Anything enclosed though and the Alien wins, easily.

Though I can't see the Alien and Predator fighting in a big open field.

1. One Pred and one alien: Pred wins.
2. One pred vs a dozen aliens, hard to say. Predator better be damn careful.
3. One Predator vs a Queen? The Queen wins. She's bigger and smarter than the drones.
4. A dozen Preds vs a Queen. Too hard to say.

IMO, if the Predator is an elder he could /should win vs a Queen Alien even without a Plasma canon.

Well, Predators have claws, strenght, a brain and their entire culture is based on hunting ( or so it seems ), I would think that even unarmed a Predator ( not a young pup like in AvP ) can beat an Alien ( the minion not the Queen ).

I doubt that. Thats like saying an experienced hunter could take down a Grizzly bear without large weapons.
