What do you mean not enough action? There was plenty IMO.
I thought the action was probably the one of the least things wrong with the movie, but there werent too many memorable Scenes besides the way that guy's girlfriend got killed.
...I'm not sure if you've noticed...whoever gave it a 10 is deluded, too short, not enough action and ending pretty muchalmost everyone dies-even the Predator
...I'm not sure if you've noticed...
The, "main," predators have died in all of the movies in which they're featured.
You're seriously surprised?
And the stupid stoners in every horror film...cliche and played out. The only thing this film arose from the dialogue, plot, script, etc...grave was the amount of people that died. They showed how brutal the aliens were and no BS Predator helping humans in this one either. I love how Wolf used one as bait for the alien. That was awesome. I'm so sick of the formulaic boy & girl fall in love and survive bullsh-t in every horror or action film.
Well,It's not a regular alien it's bigger stronger,And it's a QueenNo, [blackout]also kinda surprised the predators were so easy taken over by one baby[/blackout]
It's a young Queen,All young queens need to develop a Eggsack first...AVP: Requiem:
The PredAlien doesn't simply lay eggs?
?!?!?!?
I've discussed this a lot at AVPGalaxy, and it basically comes down to these options.
1) Recognize it as a young Queen, which retcons Alien 3 and makes Resurrection's statements awkward.
2) Consider the Predalien to be a genetic freak, not unlike what Mother Nature produces on Earth every now and then.
Choice 1 can be solid with some reasoning, but choice 2 is easier to say.
Plus, as a viewer, I never want to find out how Predators do the McNasty.
It's a young Queen,All young queens need to develop a Eggsack first...
It hasn't developed what it needs to lay eggs yet,So I guess It Pukes Chestburster embroyos down a hosts throat, according to Colin Strause thats what all young Queens do[blackout]You forgot what it did to those pregnant women, it didn't lay a egg. Looks like it infected the women giving birth by over coming the DNA and making it's own kids[/blackout]

see!! i knew it made no sense to add that broad!! thank you "sir"[blackout]It was the owner of the Yutani part of Weyland-Yutani. The insinuation for the fans is that the Yutani folks merge with the Weyland Corporation and begin our ventures into space by reverse-engineering the plasma shoulder-gun.[/blackout]
If you ask me, this is yet another unnecessary reference to the previous films that only 5% of the audience caught onto.
see!! i knew it made no sense to add that broad!! thank you "sir"![]()
yeah that scene was sorta ******ed,but her last name is Yutani, this ring a bell?the kills were good, the action's o.k., but who the hell is the chick at the end? i was yawning when they said her name!!
I think the scene with the woman giving "birth" to baby xenomorphs was lifted out of Aliens Labyrinth, which is an excellent tale. Has anyone read this story? It's quite chilling. There's also a novelization of it, too. Below is the graphic novel cover.
