Alien VS Predator 2! Hell Yeah!

Yeah. I was hoping for FvJ to be a really great B-Horror but no.
AvP is still great though, I don't care what anyone says. I wanted a Predator to laugh crazily before blowing himself up though.

The first AvP was ok, it just had too much humans and not enough versus. And a couple of cheezy moments like the Pred teaming up with the woman and running away from the explosion.

And after reading the script review and knowing that they got a guy who's never done a movie before, I can't say that I'm looking forward to the 2nd Movie.

Hopefully, this exceeds the original in terms of action and story. The original didn't feel like a versus movie and I just hated the flashbacks and the story. And no, I have yet to read the script review? Link?

I'll reserve my judgements until I see the movie.

Well ... this is nothing but another nail in the Alien/Predator coffin.

The first was a cheap, cheesy mess ... I think some people on here need to go back and watch Alien, Aliens and Predator.

Just watch how wonderful and special these three films are ....

Then watch AVP ......

Cameron wanted to make another Alien movie but they dumped him for the Anderson ****-fest!

AVP2 will be just as bad .... Zero budget, No-mark directors ....

Its painful to watch.

If you've read the script review, there's very little chance of this not being complete garbage.

That, and the directors have never actually directed a film before (That inspires tons of confidence, now doesn't it?)

On top of all that, there's also the fact that the very idea of AvP is repulsive, because it's just Fox's way of draining the two franchises of whatever money potential they have left, instead of creating decent movies/rebuilding the greatness of them.

Actually, AvP was done in the comics in the early 1990s, and was damn good (at least the first few), so it wasn't fox's way of draining two franchises. It was in development for years.

That said, the script review did make it sound terrible, and the last film I saw with a n00b director (re apocalypse) was pretty trashy (despite the fact I did enjoy it in a guilty pleasure kinda way, it was porrly directed), especially now these directors are primarily into special effects.


But I am still looking forward to it...I enjoyed the first so I'm sure I will get something out of this, even if its not quite the avp film I would have wanted.

Let's hope all the humans in the little town are being slaughtered. And after everyone has been gutted, decapitated, mutilated and mauled, we have one last battle between the Pred and 2 surviving Aliens. And with no humans there'd be no distraction from the fight. The way it should be.

According to the script review it's going to be a sinlge Pred hunting the surving Aliens after the Spacecraft from the first Movie crashed.

What I'd like to see, after the humans have been wiped out of course, that the Predator is ready to leave after he took care of his business by killing the Aliens. Just as he is about to leave, something draws his attention, he turns around and scans the area and discovers the arrival of a convoy full of armed soldiers investigating the scene.

And instead of boarding the pod he decides it's hunting time. The screen fades to black and we hear the Plasma caster and screaming Soldiers.
