i watched this again the other night... it really isn't too bad, just not that good, either.

if they could have taken the look, designs, and gore from this movie, and put it with the story of the first (give or take a few things), we'd have one hell of a movie on our hands.

I thought the designs were pretty cool actually.What didnt you like about them?

I liked the Predator 100%,the aliens were great in AVPR too,but the lack of detail on em,even though they were in the dark it didn't matter,lol,but look at this behind the scenes pic to see what I mean



But they are still awesome,(LOL)

Horrendous plot (as far as the human part goes), terrible character development, crappy acting, weak dialogue, plot holes, poorly shot and lit fight scenes, and non-existent suspense.

I love how just because SalaciousVC disagrees he feels the need to roll his eyes like a child. I'm not bashing for the sake of bashing. I honestly can't name a worse movie in the last 2 years, and this is coming from a huge Predator fanboy.

I think if most were honest they would admit its really sad to see how far these horror icons have fallen in recent years.

ha! I didn't realise Tom Woodruff Jr was still doing the Alien acting. Did he do the Pred-Alien too? Where did you find that pic?

What's funny is the look of terror on the face of the waitress and Woodruff doesn't even have the mask on.

Hell yeah. That was one of the few things I liked about the film. Aliens were good design-wise, but I miss the suspense they used to bring with them on-screen. Wolf, on the other hand, was amazing in it. Predalien was meh. Loved the overall design but the dreadlocks kinda killed it for me, lol.

You brought up some points that were hard to debate about the acting and dialogue, but the creatures themselves were treated quite right.
I really thought the Predator was done very well, and Pred-Alien was scary. I do however have to admit that I liked the Aliens themselves better in the first AVP.
