Awesome interview with Colin Strauss. He's very honest and surprisingly grounded in reality. Definitely him and his brother are directors to watch for at least their honesty.

Basically, the movie's main problems boiled down to money and conflicts during production. There's also a lot of info on the unrated cut...and perhaps, a director's cut in the future

their biggest mistake probably was the camera.
it was too close of the monsters most of the time and the scenes were annoyingly gloomy.

About the darkness, Colin admitted that there were prints that were shown on the East side that were too dark when compared to the other areas where it was shown. He also, if you followed the interview, said that the DvD will have a better light mixer-thingy or whatever it is you use to light the ***** out of something.
