My best friend passed away a month ago and there were alot of movies he wanted to see that he won't get to now.

We had plans to see Spidey 3 together then he died in a car crash shortly before it came out, it was sad when I went and saw it and there's a certain scene with Harry Osborn about friends, and I started crying.

Saw FF 2 today and thought about how he didn't get to see what happened next with this and other sequels, like Harry Potter, he really wanted to see what would happen next, he didn't read the books, I'd fill him in though.

It's sad, he was a big movie buff. Now everytime I see a sequel this Summer I think of him and how he's missing all of this.

I really feel for you, bud. But just think of all the great films he did see which made him a movie buff in the first place.

If you look on the bright side, he's got the best seat in the house now.

Before all those insensitive people start coming on here and flaming you with all that "Movies aren't everything"/"There's more to life"-crap, I'd like to say, my condolences.

I'm such a HUGE movie fanatic, everytime I think about my own death, that's one of the topics I think about... all the movies I'll never get to see. So I know exactly what you mean.

It's a reasonable concern. Thank goodness they're churning out Marvel flicks like mormon babies.

Time is precious.

I'm sorry to hear this my friend, I think the same about my grandma ,she pretty much started me off with films.

I miss her so much.

That's so sad. My prayers and condolences. Like Spidey said, he has the best seat in the house now.

Really sorry about your friend, i myself often am afraid something could happen to me or my friends and i always think about all the movies i would miss.

My grandpa is a huge batman fan and he has cancer, so i fear he wont make it to The Dark Knight.

Oh well though, life deals random hands, and you just have to live on :)

Almost every time, when I watch either T2 or The Lion King I start thinking about my granfather, who passed away in November'05, the week after his 61st B-Day :(

Sorry for your loss, I'm sure he's in a better place now. I've always thought that seeing as how heaven is paradise and what not, that they'd have every movie you'd want to see up there. That's how I'd imagine my paradise, eating pizza and watching every movie I've ever wanted to see (real and imagined) for an eternity.

Let me put it this way, you know how they're just now considering making a JLA movie? Well I believe that those lucky folks in heaven have already seen JLA 4. I know I've got a few loose screws, but that's just me.

But yeah, I'm definitely sorry for your loss. This reminds me of a line from that Crow song: "It won't rain all the time, the sky won't fall forever, and though the night seems long, your tears won't fall forever."

Yeah, that would be an ideal Heaven.:woot:
